Corrie Thread - Is Daniel the least convincing man of mystery ever? - no spoilers please

I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

Rosie is so dreadful. Use the great characters - Mary & Norris, Tim & Sally, rather than the dreadful Webster sisters, Shona. Too much evil, Phelan, grooming man. Coronation St is best when it builds up stories with interesting characters rather than all the evil stories and people you don't care about. Cut the cast and get back to 3/4 excellent episodes.

Exactly Housewife - there's just so much going on it hurts my head. It needs to be pared right back - quality rather than quantity. We still get flashes of Corrie genius in some of the interaction between Sally and Tim or Norris and Mary. Let's have more of that instead of the unbelievable cavortings of Rosie and Sophie. I find Sophie almost as irritating as her sister. Her acting skills aren't much better and she always has such an unpleasant look on her face.

For someone who has had to show strength in coming out and pursuing a Christian faith Sophie is surprisingly weak and feeble when she's with her supremely irritating and stupid sister!

I'm starting to wonder where the hell the Corrie wardrobe department gets the coat from.

Rosie's parka with the pink hood is awful, so are Adam and Aidan's coats. David always wears the same little jacket.

Is Daniel already bored of Siobhan after the chase.

No wonder she is bored with Cheney. She's young. Characters always shack up quickly rather than having a romance first and where will she live now.

I'm wondering if Andy really is dead. There was no time for Phelan to get rid of the body before the wedding, and I know he took the carpet etc. to the tip, but I don't think that it's very easy to conceal a body there. So perhaps he paid him off to get out of Weatherfield and never return. Surely we'll find out eventually.

Mmm good point, sad most of us forgotten all about him! But he was butbof wer dosh cloth character. Can imagine him kicking crap out him and saying not to come back that would make sense.

This rate Phelon will own garage by Easter and Kevin will be going under on positive sode maybe then Anna will do him in for good. Thinking attaching gonards to car battery and frying !

She got in a taxi Green but didn't make it to the end of the road before that half-baked plan got left behind! She just turned up at Norris's ten minutes after nodding everyone an emotional goodbye and never spoke of her son again!

Poor Sinead and Daniel, gone from awkward flirting to passionate store-cupboard sex, to TV and a cuppa on the sofa and retiring to bed early (to sleep!) in the space of about three days

She left and came back at the end of the episode and hasn't been seen since. Totally bizarre. If she was having a break I don't know why they didn't just send her on holiday to SA rather than just not appear for a couple of months

Yes she did I'm moving to South Africa for ever speech. Packed taxi then came back 5m later. Didn't even go for a holiday like a normal person.

Who else has Ken grandson slept with since he's been on the square? Can't believe Rosie seems to be staying urgh she's so annoying. What sort of modelling work is she planning get there?

Least with all the possible murders, drugs, crime Craig will have something to do when he gets back.

I actually didn't recognise Rosie when she came out of Adam's bedroom with no make-up on. For a moment I thought it was Chloe, the taxi passenger who tried to chat up Peter.

Both Adam and Daniel are awful! Don't give a shiny shite about either of them. Has there ever been a sinkhole disaster in Corrie? Just thinking we have enough wastes-of-space (Rosie, Sophie, Adam, Daniel, Chesney, Siobhan, grooming couple) for a nice multiple death/disaster. And THIS time, Siobhan HAS to go.
