I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

I had to google Delores - it was in 2002/2003 & was her lecturer (someone called John who was much older & reappeared as a police officer a couple of years ago).

I think Billy has a cheek to keep taking the homeless girl back to Eileen's. She looks very well groomed considering she's homeless. Now that Billy has decided to return to the church again I wonder what will happen to the job he was offered, and will he turf his replacement out of the vicarage? It all seems very badly thought through.

Watching Phelan versus Andy is like watching a lion toy with a fly or something. Even bumbling Michael seemed a better opponent.

I absolutely loved the scene with Toyah bitching to Eva about the irritating Maria - 'poisonous munchkin'. Hopefully they won't make up after Maria leaves prison.

Yes, Billy was a drug counsellor for a whole nanosecond. This homeless girl story is utter nonsense, as is Toyah/Peter. How did their affair start? Did he bump into her in Liverpool? Why do I even care......

The other strand that has been forgotten is Adam's car. I was reminded of this by reading another forum. Also, did we ever find out who was the mystery man peering through the Barlow's front window?

Oh god it's completely bonkers at the moment, Aiden going to visit Maria and offering her a trip away so she'll keep her mouth shut, no one cares Aiden no one.

Adam acting the hard man over the factory, give me a break, going on and about him being a Baldwin, ah shut the feck up.

Homeless girl is just a rehash of Maddie and Sophie.

Phelan storyline has been done to death.

I remember years ago when Toyah was in it and she was great, her acting was brilliant, remember when she was attacked and Jason found her, that story was done very well, I don't think the writers are up the job anymore.

Wasn't Peter Barlow the main suspect in the Toyah rape case for a while? eddiemair'swife I have also been wondering about the car, Peter's black eye and the man hanging around. Was it just to lead us to believe that Peter was in money diffs rather than having an affair - maybe the writers spun their" story wheel " and changed it when Toyah actress said she'd return.

According to Digital Spy, Johnny and Jenny were in the cafe in last night's episode for three hours, eating breakfast.

If Adam's a solicitor he's a bit of a dodgy one, with the car scam he was pulling. Maybe he and Todd (ex-legal clerk) could set up a practice together "Dodgy solicitors RUs"

Billy has a right cheek - he is a guest at Eileen's but takes it upon himself to have random homeless girl thief come into their home without asking. Surely, Phelan would have something to say about it?

Was Adam the one who Ken went to look after in Canada (?) Is he a Canadian lawyer?

Haven't watched for weeks but also wondering how/when Peter and Toyah met and started this affair. Hasn't he been working on boats (doing what exactly?) in various locations 'down South'?

Surely, prior to the affair, Toyah would have called and mentioned to Leanne that she had bumped into Peter in Liverpool or wherever they met.

It would have made sense for their affair to start after Toyah arrived on the street with her marriage in crisis as that would be in keeping with Peter's opportunistic character.

He is a solicitor and did live in Canada. Had no idea he worked with Peter in a bookies in Portsmouth in the past. They aren't acting as if they know each other that well.

Not much to add other than that beige coat is doing Peter NO favours.

Peter is good looking but he's such a weakling! I watched back some clips where he was telling Leanne about Carla and Carla about Tina and he tries to blame them and won't take any responsibility. Same with his alcoholism. Can't stand him!!

Corrie has gone from The Land of the Midnight Sun to permanent darkness. Near the beginning when Todd met Billy, Billy said he had spent the night with Shona; but it was dark, so it was either very early or late afternoon, which seems unlikely.
