I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

David and Kyle had the main bedroom I thought then 3 other rooms upstairs. One being tiny. BOx room that Gail was in. They then built extension for Gail to give her more room or possible give to Lilly if was only a 3 bed.

It was after found body Gail refused sleep so David and Kylie moved downstairs. So presume Lilly is in with Max. Gail in one room the smallest. Then Harry his mum and sister in other.

The Phelan blackmail story is just tedious, remember when the real son of Michael blackmailed Andy.

I think soaps rely on blackmail far too much, it's so annoying to watch and you wish the victim would say no.

Why doesn't Sarah just move out and rent her own place. Surely she would qualify for some kind of help with housing costs as she has 2 kids under 18 and works part time.

Maybe she should set up home with Gary..or is he moving in with Kevin along with Anna and whiny Fay?! Gotta feel sorry for Kevin's invisible son Jack who suddenly has to share his house with a load of randoms.

Just watched a programme about Jean Alexander aka the one and only Hilda Ogden.
It was lovely. Sad comparing it though, to what passes for acting, or storylines in today's Corrie.

How I miss those days when we had the likes of Stan and Hilda, they didn't need big dramatic storylines then to keep us watching. For some reason Corrie bosses seem to think we need murder, adultery, fires, explosions and all the other ridiculous far fetched stories they bore us to death with.
Hilda with her curlers in having a go at Stan for being lazy, with the murals on the wall. Hilda singing while she cleaned the Rovers.....all believable with characters we loved and could identify with. Todays nonsense can't compare.

the trouble is that people like Hilda and Stan who were the backbone of the British working class are no longer interesting or trendy to today's audiences who want murder, rape, 'issues' to be explored in their drama.
It is sad but a fact of life in 2016. If a real working class drama was on TV - it would be laughed off the screen as 'history' since the UK is not like that any more (which is a shame in many ways)
Had got bored with seeing symmetrical dots of beetroot puree on a plate being classed as food on masterchef so watched this program on Hilda Ogden for preference.

Leanne's walk is ridiculous but even when not doing her "pregnant" walk it's a bit similar. She's very bow legged.

Why is it, in Corrieland, e police don't actually need any kind of evidence?

It truly is becoming unwatchable! I zoned out last night with the Andy stupidity and the Maria snoozefest.

The women in Corrie are always ready to have sex at the drop of a hat. They never have a headache or have their period or just don't fancy it.

I zone out watching it then don't know what is going on....
Why were Gary, Faye and Bethany in a hotel the other night?
Where did all those ipads come from, and why did Andy nick some of them?
Why am I still watching it all????

-they were going to a gig ( even though none of them has a brass ha'penny, they were able to stay overnight in what looked like a nice hotel ) ...

• the iPads were ordered for the Bistro, 24 arrived, instead of 4. Andy, I presume wants to sell them, because of Phelan blackmailing him.

I only watch on and off now, and there is an upcoming storyline I plan to completely avoid.

Also read there is a horrible storyline for Bethany coming up. It is all so dreary.
