Here's a new thread - hope no one else was going to start it - old thread has just about run out!

Glad Larry went.

Think it will be Joel and Sam tomorrow.

toldmywraath · 01/12/2016 22:19

Yay we have a mumsnet vindication. I hope the press are vitriolic about Larry's treatment of Martin. What a total prick he was telling Martin that his feelings had been hurt. Tosser. Can you tell that I don't really like Larry the bully. Grin ?

Cherrypie32 · 01/12/2016 22:26

Yay...couldn't watch tonight either but v pleased with the result.

Hulababy · 01/12/2016 22:38

But he was happy to have them wait on him. When you do this type of programme you've got to be prepared to get your hands dirty and take anything that comes. He didn't. He sulked. And he was sulking and complaining right from the start.

Hulababy · 01/12/2016 22:39

However still glad Larry went - he was bullying and increasingly unkind.

Roussette · 01/12/2016 22:58

Just caught up... very glad Larry has gone, yahoooo!

We all know a Shut Up Martin! Means well, but quite annoying.
I think he means well.
I also really like Scarlett, and can't help feeling like she's being knocked for looking younger than she is, and having a close relationship with her mum! I mean, I can't imagine phoning my mum when things are crap but that's because she'd tell me to man the fuck up and pull myself together Grin

CakeNinja · 01/12/2016 23:26

And now, watching extra camp (why do I do it?!), it looks like carol actually does fancy Joel 😂

JaneJeffer · 01/12/2016 23:37

Larry seemed so shocked that he was going Grin I bet he thought Martin was off.

Roussette · 02/12/2016 07:59

Oh yes, he will have been so smug if Martin had gone. He needs to think why it was him and not Martin. He needs to read some rubbish press - that'll tell him! Grin

So Larry would have us believe he's such a sensitive flower that he got hurt by Martin rushing ahead to tell everyone about the challenge?! Imagine it had been Scarlett or Adam rushing ahead, he wouldn't have said anything. He just knows that Martin is a people pleaser so knew he would apologise. And imagine it had been the other way round -

Martin: Larry you upset my feelings...

Larry: shut up and grow up Martin and stop being so sensitive! It's not all about you!

I knew he'd be out once I saw the clip!

MrsJayy · 02/12/2016 09:25

Glad he is gone his hurt feelings about thedingo dollars trial was ridiculous I don't understand what he was going on about. Think it might be Wayne and Sam tonight

Dowser · 02/12/2016 09:32

Thought scarlet did really well in that trial.

woodhill · 02/12/2016 09:44

Yes, Martin can be irritating but he was trying his best to get along with people whereas Larry didn't try with Martin or try to see the latter's perspective and was unpleasant.

Perhaps he was so offhand that Martin wanted to get back to camp.

Or perhaps it's all a game on camera?

MrsJayy · 02/12/2016 09:58

Yeah she did great except the bloody ostriches stupid game that was.

MrsJayy · 02/12/2016 10:01

Martin just gets over excited it's usual for only 1 to have the treat Larry is obviously a sensitive flower who didn't like Martin

dontcallmelen · 02/12/2016 10:11

As pp we have a mumsnet vindication, so glad Larry went especially after his nonsense after the dingo dollar challenge.
Thought it was interesting that Carol reiterated how she liked Martin & that was a lot of stuff that wasn't shown, when asked about the goings on with Larry & Martin on the extra show last night.
Also did anyone else share their treats with Adam & Wayne apart from Martin?

MrsJayy · 02/12/2016 10:25

Scarlett offered. pizza not sure about anybody else

teabagsmummy · 02/12/2016 10:53

im glad Larry has gone hope he questions himself why? i thnk he's a bully who ended up looking very fake.I did like him to begin with but he was such a bully to poor Martin

Cherrypie32 · 02/12/2016 11:08

His persona as affable, loveable Mick from Gavin & Stacey is well and truly tarnished. I've never changed my mind about a camp mate quite as much as I did about Larry. He was spiteful. It's fine not to like or get along with someone but not to belittle/berate them for who they are. I'd prefer Adam to win over Scarlett and don't get why Wayne is still there 😕

MrsJayy · 02/12/2016 11:20

Every night of vote off I'm saying Wayne the family laugh at me he seems a nice man but i don't get why he is still there. I would rather Scarlett won over Adam I like Scarlett

Twinkletowedelephant · 02/12/2016 11:25

I quite like Wayne - he comes across as a nice bloke.

heartskey · 02/12/2016 11:28

I went off Scarlett when she didn't defend Martin when it kicked off with Danny. She could easily have defused it but instead pretended to be all upset and let it look like it was all Martins fault. All that crying and sitting on Larrys knee was a bit pathetic. There's something about her, I think she's fake.

MrsJayy · 02/12/2016 11:30

Yes Wayne is lovely I like him but was surprised carol went before him

Roussette · 02/12/2016 12:18

I think Wayne has a good chance of winning, he comes across as just sort of ordinary, and it makes a change from wannabe TV presenters like Scarlett and last year Vicki
