New shinny thread here!

OP posts:
HateSummer · 03/12/2016 16:49

😂😂😂👏👏👏👏 just riveting stuff.

EE bosses, take note!

iknowimcoming · 03/12/2016 16:56

Xmas ConfusedXmas ShockXmas Hmm

Soooo moving on.

I found last nights episode confusing and shocking! Shocking because for once some actual excitement, but confusing because of the whole way everyone reacted! Mick was oddly calm when he heard the noises (agree, why wouldn't he have said lock yourselves in bathroom or why didn't they think to do that anyway) Linda was like stay behind me whatever happens (what is she 5ft 2 of trained assassin?!) Lee was definitely shifty about getting Whiney home and I loved oh go on Lee I could really do with a drink! After a shift working in a PUB ffs! Did seem to me like the guys from Lees office too but seems a huge leap from office bully to armed robbery. I thought all of Janes stuff was cringe-tastic, particularly the bit at the bar with the hunk chatting her up. Also can we please never ever see Ian kiss anyone again ever

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 03/12/2016 17:01

My recording of it was all weird and jumpy so I need to watch it again on iplayer. It was a bit mad though! I definitely think was office bully.

nancy75 · 03/12/2016 17:13

I think it's right that micks character would have stood up to them, he's not the type to hide in the bathroom

DearMrDilkington · 03/12/2016 17:22

coming I agree! It was such a strange episode... Where was babe when it all kicked off? She'd have dealt with themXmas Wink

nancy75 · 03/12/2016 17:23

Good point, where was babe? They made a point of mentioning her during the darts

iknowimcoming · 03/12/2016 17:33

I didn't mean Mick would hide in the bathroom Nancy he's far too manly for that I meant when he said to the "wimmin" go upstairs in his "this is mans stuff" voice! Surely he would have said lock yourselves in somewhere and phone the police? But there wasn't really any urgency about it - very odd!

nancy75 · 03/12/2016 17:36

its hard to know what you would do in the situation, you don't have time to think rationally

MrsJayy · 03/12/2016 17:41

It had to be Lee he was desperate for Whit to leave all night the guy looked like him from Lees work if it was Lee his FAHMILY will never forgive him.
I liked the ladies night "wind it in Brenda" had me loling drunk cathy reminded me of Katherine Tate's. Nan though

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 03/12/2016 17:52

Akire · 03/12/2016 17:53

guess if was Lee Whitney mik Linda Jonny and babe they could have had a go 6 to 3. If just 3 of them then expect Mik to just say take it.

I'm suprised Jonny had a go given Ben story line. Surely these days you just hand over what ever. People kill you just for your phone!

Shirley does a good drunk but they not used her for ages. Thought show how she cope living with mum and Tina. What's she supposed to be doing pay rent given rarely dies shift behind the bar?

I'm guessing Denise writing will involve lifting a whole script and adding new jokes. Who writes a script in a week!

My parents were robbed like on EE 4 men with machetes, knives etc, my dad hit one of them round the head with a saucepan, you never know how you would react and you don't have time to think

JustAnotherSadOldNumber · 03/12/2016 18:14

Who writes a script in a week

Eastenders staff?

The80sweregreat · 03/12/2016 18:19

Nancy, thats awful. Your poor parents.
Was this at home or business property?
Must be so scary. What motives people sometimes? So many horrible people around.
Mick was calm, but poor Ollie.
Lee is just horrible.

DearMrDilkington · 03/12/2016 18:19

Is Denise keeping the baby now? I thought she mentioned adoption but it didn't get spoken about again.

I wonder if she'll give birth in the Vic toliets like kim or in the chippy... Or maybe in mitchell motorsXmas Wink

AlasEarwax · 03/12/2016 18:23

That's scary Nancy I hope your parents and anyone else were OK after.

I forgot how funny shirl can be sometimes, it's the first time in a long time that I've laughed out loud at EastEnders, when she kept telling Carmel to "shut up Brenda" Grin Grin

nancy75 · 03/12/2016 18:24

Parents were in their house, apparently it happens more than you would think. Luckily they were unhurt, but they moved house soon after.

nancy75 · 03/12/2016 18:25

Back to happier things...drunken Kaff was an abomination! Shirley is great and very underused at the moment

The80sweregreat · 03/12/2016 18:46

Yep, Shirl needs a storyline. Even Dh laughed at her with Carmel.
My poor parents were caught out by a couple of scum bag con men 7 years ago now. I believe in karma but will never know of course.

I wonder if Denise will fess up to Phil being the dad? I also think Vincent needs something to do as well, he seems to just hang about! Kathy has never been one of the 'greats, ' acting wise but its good nasty Gav is no longer around.

nancy75 · 03/12/2016 18:56

Did gavin die? I remember his sister fell out of a window but what happened to him?

The80sweregreat · 03/12/2016 19:05

He was arrested and put away.

MrsJayy · 03/12/2016 19:23

Rebecca's angst is annoying me she is so intense just chuck shaki he isn't worth it

Zippidydoodah · 03/12/2016 21:49

Oops, was I the first one to mention the spoiler? If so I apologised already but here I am apologising again...I'm ever so sorry for ruining your future enjoyment of Eastenders.

I watch it avidly but STILL don't actually know why!! It's a pile of poo really, isn't it.

I think the bex storyline is good though really, for showing teen girls that they shouldn't do things they don't want to do.

Gingergin · 03/12/2016 22:42

Babe locked herself in the walk in freezer Grin
They haven't decided what Denise is doing with the baby have they?
Also what happened to the fish guy, Buster, i must have missed if when he left? Did he just do a runner? I thought him and Kathy would get it on.
Agreed shaqi and Bex is rubbish. His hair bothers me, why have a little top knot like that and never wear it down, do they just grow their hair to wear up permanently? Bloody man buns Hmm

Zippidydoodah · 03/12/2016 23:03

Buster and Kathy did get it on, and I think he left when she snubbed him! Couldn't bear to be in her vicinity because he loved her but she couldn't stay with him as it was Wrong.
