I'm going to guess the first dived in and broke her neck and then the second dived in to help but got caught up in all the wedding dress and drowned ... blimey ....

Very well done EE. It slogged along for the best part but what a powerful ending.

That makes more sense than "poisioned water" which was my guess.

Think Roxy had taken drugs that's why she drowned

Did Roxy hit her head or get cold water shock which might have killed her instantly? Did the weight of Ronnie's dress drag her down? It was rather poignant, seeing them together in the pool in death.

Oh wow what an episode.

I think Mini Cooper has it spot on. Those small pools are normally quite shallow certainly not meant for diving.

I was a bit behind as had it paused but wow what an ending

Awful way for both characters to finish on the show , especially Ronnie who had such a shit life

Ronnie dress went over her face and she couldn't remove the material.

I was chilled to the bone watching it. Very dramatic. But the way they had jack telling the story and the events mirroring it was very cleverly done.

The last shot long really wasn't needed pre watershed.

Horrible.

Could Ronnie and Jack not have at least half a happy ending?
They'll argue that Ronnie wouldn't want to live without Roxy but she'd want to live for her son and step children.
Could her life be more tragic? I like drama but not every life or storyline has to end in bleak circumstances.

That was brilliantly done but I agree with Tea - horrible and uneccessary! Many other less unpleasant ways for Ron n Rox to leave. But that's EastEnders for you. I'm still not over Frank Butcher mowing down TIFF at New Year's all those years ago.....

What happened in between. ?. I'm asking myself the same question.
I can understand the part when Roxy got panicked and pulled Ronnie under the water. That's what happens in drowning. However what initially happened with Roxy. One minute she jumped in the next minute she was under the water lifeless. Why did you not hear her splashing around.

Surely she wasn't that intoxicated. Mind you she'd had cocaine the night before so I don't suppose that helped.
On another note. That was a bit naughty of Mick what he said to Lee.
There are something's you can never take back.

Ronnie did have a shitty life its true.
Roxy was annoying, but she had a fun side at least!
Jack now has a handful of kids to raise.

Wonder who will find them
