New shinny thread here!

Oooooh, Empress. Not here. Not here.

Breagha85 · 31/12/2016 11:00

The parking attendant definitely out-acted Lee but I found it odd that although she had obviously had a loved one die, she was quite happy to see Lee on his way after a cup of tea. No way of knowing that he wouldn't just step in front of a bus or summat.

MrsJayy · 31/12/2016 11:12

What else could she do though if he said he was ok

HoHumming · 31/12/2016 11:15

I suppose what could the parking attendant have done once he stood up and said he wouldn't have really done anything. I doubt we will see her again. In the old EE we would have as they wouldn't have paid her for so much talking to only get one episode out of her but the new producer seems different. Cynical much ;-)

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/12/2016 11:34

I felt really sorry for carpark attendant lady having to cope with that. I found it really moving,( and I'm a cynical old bat).

Agree lots of people with major issues; Lee is so fragile, I predict a huge mental breakdown soon.

Really surprised there was such shock and horror about Roxy being a bit wasted at the Xmas do. Most people leave their work do in a terrible tangle don't they? Grin Although she was going a bit far man handling Shrimpy. He looked terrified.

Ahh Donna and Shrimpy got it on. Is his hat superglued to his head? It didn't move when he went in for the snog.

dingdongdigeridoo · 31/12/2016 12:13

I hate the arty camera angles and voice overs they are doing now. Like the reflection of Whit staring out the window.

Roxy didn't seem all that wasted to me! Yeah normal xmas party stuff really.

mrswhiplington · 31/12/2016 14:23

Actually enjoyed last night's episode, even though it was sad. Finally felt sorry for Lee. Maybe he will get help now, he was looking at the leaflet car park attendant gave him, hope that's a sign.

Maybe Max found God in prison.Grin Full of tears and forgiveness. Like to think he's just biding his time before getting his own back on Phil and Ian.

MrsJayy · 31/12/2016 14:35

I quite like the voice over arty shots it is usually Dot that does them was nice to hear somebody else

MrsJayy · 31/12/2016 14:36

Max finding peace and love is like saying Danny dyer is a good actor 😊

Spottyladybird · 31/12/2016 14:38

Anyone else find Max 'forgiving' Phil actually quite sinister? He has the power over Phil in that episode.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/12/2016 14:50

Oh I hope Max hasn't found God, how dull. Grin

He's certainly been acting very strangely. Angry one minute, then crying, sipping orange, not flirting with Roxy Confused and picking up other people's fag butts to ram into his arms even though he's quit actually smoking them.
I don't think this virtuous lifestyle is working that well for him.

Stacey fawning over Max and rushing to sit with him at the party was cringey.

MrsJayy · 31/12/2016 15:45

Yes it was Unnerving especially as Max was crying

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/12/2016 15:48

Crying isn't a good look for Max Grin. He didn't even have a tissue, just dripping it all over Phil.

MrsJayy · 31/12/2016 15:59

Eww max snot

Gingergin · 01/01/2017 00:48

Didn't he do the crackers that all said Last Christmas in them, that sounded sinister? Maybe he'll kill off Ronnie and roxy or something!
Also billy getting the answer to the cracker trivia so quickly was a surprise!

HoHumming · 01/01/2017 01:22

Why would Max kill Ronnie or Roxy?

I thought it was all an act but the cig burns disturb me.

sweetkitty · 01/01/2017 01:24

In the trailer R&R we're heading off in a red convertible Thelma & Louise style ...?

celeste84 · 01/01/2017 12:07

I saw that trailer too. Wondering whether it will be a smokescreen for what will actually happen. I will be glad to see them go though. Both characters have long run their course and have essentially been repeating the same storylines for the last few years now.

So many characters have left of late we must be due an influx of newbies int he new year surely.

NigellasGuest · 01/01/2017 12:52

Max self harming - have I missed an episode? Last one I saw was with the amazing car park lady.

southeastdweller · 01/01/2017 13:29

The self harming was in the last episode, on Friday.

youarenotkiddingme · 01/01/2017 19:27

Apparently there's an alternative ending after tonight's on snapchat. Wishes I knew what they were on about!

celeste84 · 01/01/2017 19:30

Biggest pair of drama queens ever.

JustAnotherSilentOldNumber · 01/01/2017 19:32

Is the BBC allowed to promote snapchat that?

youarenotkiddingme · 01/01/2017 19:56

Omg that was chilling. Very graphic for ore watershed Shock

Akire · 01/01/2017 19:57

Well that's what I call Drama!!
