New shinny thread here!

OP posts:
celeste84 · 30/12/2016 11:30

What has them robbing the Vic got to do with EGEL? They can't sack them for that surely? And yes, how did Oz get away with it?

nancy75 · 30/12/2016 11:42

If they have pleaded guilty they can sack them because they will be going to prison

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 30/12/2016 11:46

@celeste84 Roxy is moving to Onga with them again now.

There's a suburb near me called Onga I had a snigger when I saw it on the front of the bus the other day.

harverina · 30/12/2016 12:19

I've been trying to catch up...was 4 weeks behind and have finally watched last nights episode!

harverina · 30/12/2016 12:24

I felt awful for Lee last night. He is so pathetic but I think that's linked to his mental health and what the actor is trying to portray - just totally and utterly helpless and can see no way out.

I don't think he will kill himself but like someone else said, he will be found and talked out of it and then admit to everything that's been going on. I'm not convinced that Whitney will leave him but no one will trust him ever again.

Poor dot. Can't believe no one actually checked what she was doing on Xmas day - why didn't Jack invite her round?!

Michelle is annoying me already - wish they would get to the point about why she is home!!

MrsJayy · 30/12/2016 13:04

I think the car park attendent will find him teetering on the roof edge talk him round and he will hand himself into the police taking Oz with him.

AQuietMind · 30/12/2016 13:27

Have just found this thread so I presume this is a good place to vent Grin

Sorry if it has been mentioned but how on earth did Mick not realise it was Oz who robbed the Vic? He actually stood there holding Ollie and Mick was talking to him, how the hell did he not recognise the voice or the eyes when he came in the pub the other night? Instead he starts giving him free drinks!

Surely f you were traumatised with the robbery then you would remember every little bit of the person who robbed you and took your Baby Confused

celeste84 · 30/12/2016 13:52

And Mick would surely have picked upon the atmosphere/Lee looking uncomfortable in Oz's pressence. Its EE though least this storyline is seemingly heading to a conclusion one way or another.

dingdongdigeridoo · 30/12/2016 16:10

Everyone is apparently completely blind when it comes to Lee. Despite his previous alcohol and depression issues. You'd think someone in the family would be concerned over his behaviour!

I'm not surprised he was looking up expensive baby stuff. Whitless would definitely want a bugaboo and all the brand new gear!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/12/2016 18:50

I really hope Lee doesn't commit suicide leaving Whitney preg

No need to look at exsp baby stuff when she's maybe 4:5w preg

Lee is being bullied and yes surely can find a job elsewhere

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 30/12/2016 19:07

Yes everyone has Lee blindness. You'd think someone would at least ask "Have you been crying?" when he's walking about with tears and snot all over his face.

EnidButton · 30/12/2016 19:15

Don't think he ever stopped being depressed. Anti depressants don't always work or the patient has to try a few different ones before finding the one for them. He takes his pills I guess, (gave they shown that recently?), but that doesn't mean they ever did anything. In fact some of the side effects might be why he's being the way he is.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 30/12/2016 19:20

I think he also has Post traumatic stress disorder from his time in Afghanistan which they touched on ages ago but it's never mentioned much.

buddhasbelly · 30/12/2016 20:03

anybody else watching? i feel so sorry for Lee.

knorrig · 30/12/2016 20:12

It is really sad

NoisyBrain · 30/12/2016 20:16

I'm watching. Yes, the acting is much better tonight and for the first time in this whole storyline I do actually feel sorry for him. P's me off a bit that his whole family have failed to notice the state he's in - it's not like he's hidden how miserable he is especially well.

celeste84 · 30/12/2016 20:22

Oh gawd that car park lady has obviously lost her son Sad

buddhasbelly · 30/12/2016 20:22

why did sharon need to tell martin max and phil's history?

ineedamoreadultieradult · 30/12/2016 20:27

I hope he doesn't just go home and pretend he is ok.

JustAnotherSilentOldNumber · 30/12/2016 20:45

It was really good today.

also shrimpy, the extra, is being used more recently than donna who is supposed to be a main character.

EnidButton · 30/12/2016 20:57

Oh yes Ilost I'd forgotten about that. As have his entire family it seems

notgivingin789 · 30/12/2016 21:01

What is going on with Lee ?? Does he still have depression ? I felt really sad when I watched the episode. I hope he didn't commit suicide.

celeste84 · 30/12/2016 21:13

One of the better episodes of recent. Wasn't expecting to see Ronnie and Roxy's Mum in the car.

harverina · 30/12/2016 21:19

I'm just watching just now so don't know what happens (only a few minutes in)

I think Lee just has problems coping and has done since he was in the army. Maybe linked to post trauma. The antidepressants maybe did work but he just can't cope with any stress at all and Whitney has just piled it on and on and on with no thought for how he might cope

harverina · 30/12/2016 21:34

The at parking attendant was brilliant. What a big part for an extra!
