New shinny thread here!

OP posts:

I reckon Dots going to trip over the cat - we saw last night what someone upthread predicted which was her eye injections haven't worked and her eyesight is still awful Sad

Thought the whole scene with the copper was farcical - let's just say if the tree reappears we'll say no more about it - really? I thought it was going to be a wind up by Martin or similar it was so bad.

The thing with bex shouting at shaki in the rehearsal was dreadful too - am starting to despair of it ever being good again Angry

Just caught up on last nights episode.
I actually burst out laughing when I saw Ollie's "first steps" but then cried like a twat because it was actually quite touching.

They seriously need to stump up for some acting lessons for johnny, he's getting worse. It's painful to watch. Same goes for Lee actually.

And yeah, how are Whitney and Lee going to host Christmas for the whole carter clan in what is basically a bedroom? Ridiculous.

MrsJayy · 20/12/2016 15:24

Is Johnny meant to be bland im clutching at straws i know but his personality is zilch last Johnny was just as bad

JustAnotherSimpleOldNumber · 20/12/2016 15:32

one good thing about the last episode they actually had Amy being like an actual child with the tinsel on her head in the bar, It's not very often the kids are seen doing kid things.

EnidButton · 20/12/2016 15:43

Jonny is an irritating know all twat. I would hide if I saw him coming.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/12/2016 16:31

Perhaps the script writers include a little stage note next to Johnny's lines;
Deliver these lines in a monotone droning voice with a vacant look, please.

You certainly wouldn't get him started on the topic of Law at a party, what a bore fest Grin.

MrsJayy · 20/12/2016 16:38

Can you imagine johnny being your lawyer you would sack him and say feck it I am guilty

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/12/2016 16:52

Yes where was Sausage when his dad was being grilled by the police over the stolen tree?
He could have spouted some useful in depth knowledge on his dad's legal rights, advised him to say 'No comment' and the possible penalties pinching trees could incur, he's doing a law degree don't you know... zzzz
Grin

EnidButton · 20/12/2016 18:46

Yes where was Sausage when his dad was being grilled

Grin
ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/12/2016 19:30

Sausage, grilled tee hee Grin Poor Sausage wouldn't have been able to take the heat.

nancy75 · 20/12/2016 19:38

It's going to be the best Christmas ever...don't these idiots ever watch soaps, everyone knows that's just tempting fateGrin

DeleteOrDecay · 20/12/2016 19:47

Just commenting to say omg, Shaki's hairGrinGrin

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/12/2016 19:58

Ooh yes, Shaki has his hair down! I'm seeing Lord Farquar from Shrek Grin.

Gingergin · 20/12/2016 20:20

Can someone remind me why Ben hates Phil at the moment? Is it cos of the will business? I don't get why he was leaving it all to Louise anyway.

celeste84 · 20/12/2016 20:26

Tonights episode was quite good actually. This theatre has potential to be funny I think.

Still bored of Ronnie/Roxy though.

I was thinking the other day that Shaq's hair is never down.

The bin story has gone quiet again....

Gingergin · 20/12/2016 20:28

I wondered why he never wore his hair down and I now I know! It looked like a shit wig 😂

celeste84 · 20/12/2016 20:30

It reminds me of the fashion of the boys at school in the late 90's with the curtain haircut Grin

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/12/2016 20:46

My little brother had the curtains cut, his best friend had curly curtains which was different. Grin

DearMrDilkington · 20/12/2016 23:07

I'm seeing Lord Farquar from Shrek

Yes!!! I knew he reminded me off someone but I couldn't think who! GrinGrin

EnidButton · 21/12/2016 00:25

loved a curtain cut in the 90's. All the popular boys had them. Grin

SinisterBumFacedCat · 21/12/2016 01:20

I'm not sure even Ben can remember why he's angry with Phil!

EnidButton · 21/12/2016 05:01

Watched the distressing Emmerdale episode and considered following it with EE as a comforting palette cleanser. It used to be the other way round.

EnidButton · 21/12/2016 05:02

*palate

(I've been looking at too many make up sites!)

celeste84 · 21/12/2016 06:34

Its going to take someone of more substance and more influence than Shaq on EE to restart a trend for curtain haircuts I suspect Grin
