HateSummer that does happen - my mum had 3 false alarms in 8 weeks, one of which saw her ready for surgery (cannula in etc) when she was told the organ wasn't viable for transplant. And it did all get a bit hysterical at home when the call came in late one evening!

Sorry Monkey I didn't mean to make fun of a serious and rl situation. Hope you're mum's better now!

No worries, it did seem a bit overdramatic on EE but it does happen! She got her transplant in the end, thanks (although died a couple of years later from something else, but it enabled her to have an extra 18 months of happy, active life).

I'm sorry , but I'm glad she got that extra time to spend with her loved ones.

Would you get a transplant that quick? I know tend try work with charities to show realistic but very quick! Not sure the whole family turning up would help either. Abdcwhy send Lousie to school like you could concentrate?

And why probation man only worried about Louise and not Denny staying at Phils? Plus they knew he was staying at Billy's and long as wasn't left alone with kids seemed ok. Maybe because lousier is similar age to "crime?"

Oh and who do we think burgled Honey and Billy's? Seems unlikely pickings giving the state of it. Would point fingre at Jay but he was with Phil!

Also bugging me Honey was doing the Christmas is ruined speech, no presents etc. Why have you got NO money!! Surely even as a humble employee Billy worked full time Honey works around the kids so surely could afford basic amount each per kid. But he's a manager now and still can only afford a £35 iPad for Christmas. Come on EE give Billy a decent wage.

Two things really irritated me last night ...

1. Les would never have made Billy's Christmas bonus dependent on extracting payment from the parents of the boy who was stabbed.

2. What sort of burglar, given the choice of Jack's upmarket flats, Vincent and Kim's palace, Ronnie's place, etc, would choose Billy and Honey's basement hovel to break into?

I have a feeling Epping Forest is going to be the new Ongar.

I wondered whether it was the drug dealer that Jay owes money to who burgled Bily and Honey's place. I think he knows where he lives...

Lee is getting increasingly irritating to watch, he's so self absorbed and has a nasty attitude with Whitney. I think the burglary was a coincidence, not Lee or Jay. There are often random odd bits of storyline thrown in and then not followed up at the moment.

Loved Phil's line, No one pushes me around!..............unless I'm in a wheelchair of course.

I don't understand the social services thing... They allowed Jay to live in a house with two children, one who would be classed as vulnerable due to their disability.... But not in a house with a 15 year old and 3 other adults?

Max and Carmel? Hmm, she is feisty enough for him but he prefers them younger ( Tanya, Stacey, his secret wife - thingy etc) he is a player. Although now he is an ex con, bankrupt homeless player he may have to change his ways!

Oh yes, Darius he had an ego didn't he? I always remember his drawn out "hit me baby one more time" with a falsetto ending. The judges faces were hilarious.

I did wonder in the hospital when they told Phil and co that Dermot would be in shortly with the results..

80's you didn't miss much, Phil wanted one of those helicopter drone things for Christmas. (bit ungrateful, he's already had that massive armchair).

Really think Darius would fit right into Carmel's family.. it'd be brilliant.
