Voted x2 for Claudia (mine and ds' choice) and x1 for Danny (dd's choice).

I wonder if we will ever have a Darren Gough/Mark Ramprakash/Chris Hollins type winner again. Someone who is a total novice with no prior dancing experience. Obvioulsy they still appear in the cast, but they don't stand a chance against people with prior dance training.

Tonight was Meh I only liked Claudia and Aj and group gangway fare to Jazz hands was really an unforgettable musicals night

SCD seems a convenient route to having a starring role in a musical/ stage production now. Ali Bastian was on Pointless earlier and mentioned she had played Roxy in Chicago since doing Strictly. I saw a documentary about musicals a couple of years ago (Craig was on it I think) where someone was saying a lot of major roles go to a known name (e.g. Soap star) rather than someone who has worked their way up and that isn't always a good thing.

We voted for Claudia and Danny.

Still angry over the under-marking of Claudia from last week and they're at it again this week. Honestly, we need a new panel of judges.

To give her her due, Louise was third best this week. Ore and Judge for the dance off.

I would really like to see danny and louise in the dance off.
The other 3 are much more imo what the show is about.

AJ was yet again relying on a very quick, showy dance that could use Claudia's gymnastic abilities. It's just too simplistic and, well, dull. They made at least one mistake, they didn't deserve 10s.

I thought the flowers or sweets or whatever they were in Ore dance awful

The one that was supposed to take his hat hesitated for what seemed like ages before taking it as if they weren't expecting it to be given to them - what were they there for?????

I also agree about AJ keep giving Claudia dances that show her gymnastic training rather than slower ones that she dances in

I thought the west side story routine was great- Alijaz lifting janette so effortlessly showed what wasn't quite right with AJ and Claudia- though I think AJ will get better with experience, he's very young still! Karen looks good dancing with Giovanni.

I think her eating on ITT is an ongoing Joke they have been running all series.

I thought ore suffered from having another very similar dance to his Blackpool waltz, nothing looked new. And I didn't think louise was going to make it onto the table, but she did! She had the best music I think.

Somebody mentioned it on a much earlier thread but AJ is actually the same age as Aljiaz was when he joined SCD nobody ever commented that Aljiaz was young and inexperienced when he won that series

Anyway, wikipedia has informed me that AJ and his partner got through to the semi-finals of BGT about 5 years ago - anyone remember them from that?

West Side Story America music adrenalin rousing and Claudia's dance was enjoyable.
Ore was obscured by ghostly apparitons of things hogging the camera shots at one time and the actual amount of dancing was very limited anyway.
Louise seemed heavy footed at times.
Rinder gave it is all and then some with more gurning than ever.
Danny was just the same as always - very good but not as good as the pros.

I enjoyed Claudia the best for the last 2 weeks.

The difference is that Alijaz didn't look like a teenager and AJ has been cursed with youthful looks! I had no idea he was so young when he danced with Abby.

They look good there! I didn't watch the series Alijaz em with Abbey, but I do sometimes feel AJ needs a bit of a grown up hand with the choreography! Perhaps I'm getting old . Alijaz is beautiful though and I love seeing him with Janette.

Am also really liking Neil and Chloe, hope they are both back with partners next year.

I like AJ and I suppose he will be thankful for his youthful looks when he is 40

Well I enjoyed it all , even the vts which were interesting in that they actually went to the theatres fgs!! Not sure about Anton's singing though; was it an audition for his Grandad's B.F.'s job do we reckon?

Rinder's was odd. The Four Season's group backing him was good. I think he knows he's on borrowed time now.

This Tess is really beating the asymmetric drum into submission isn't she? Yes the strangest dress yet ,and that's saying something I wonder what goes through her head when she checks the clothes rail?

LOVED the West Side Story thing, it wasn't long enough. Louise really enjoyed that dance didn't she?

Claudia F. was lovely as a lion cub. She didn't seem too happy 'upstairs' though. I reckon the champ will be her or Ore.

Louise has great footwork and yes she grins a lot but I think she should win. I also like how she doesn't play the lovie dovie head on shoulder touchy feely stuff. She reminds me of Sophie Ellis Bextor who also had a her boundaries and was a great dancer too.

Who is the red haired dancer every time they do a group dance I'm drawn to him he is really good

That's Neil, Katya's husband. He's great and will hopefully have a celeb partner next year.

Danny is the best dancer by the way, but I'm put off by all the training he's obviously had. He's been lovely to watch though, but I don't want him to win.

They all went to the theatre except Claudia and An who went to the zoo
