FlappysMammyAndPopeInExile · 04/12/2016 20:42

I think Louise has been planned to win since the beginning

IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ED!!!!!!!

(But I'm not bitter . . . Angry)

ilovesooty · 04/12/2016 20:45

I must admit I do admire Danny's honesty. Last night he said he didn't expect any tens for that performance.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 04/12/2016 20:46

It's no secret I want Danny to win. I get a bit tired of Louise's fake ooh I'm just an ordinary wife and mum, me, and this is all so out of my comfort zone. You were in a flipping GIRL BAND for years, have had a solo music career, have been a TV presenter and were the face and body of Triumph lingerie for three years!

At least Danny's honest about the fact that his dance and acting background gives him a huge advantage in interviews I've read.

FantasticButtocks · 04/12/2016 20:57

Aliaj and Natalie were a gorgeous combination, don't know how they managed to keep dancing to that music at times...but they just carried on beautifully, and could probably have danced it to the sound of sausages sizzling in a pan, stunning.

Dear oksana, her round face bubbled and quivered with genuine emotion and tears while the judge was saying his farewell, she did well to hold it together enough to speak.

ChoccyJules · 04/12/2016 21:00

Glad to see my two votes for Claudia got her another week Wink

Tanaqui · 04/12/2016 21:10

I think tess looked good in a short skirt- great knees for a woman in her 40s!

Judge went with grace, I've liked him. Think AJ could've said something's about it being his fault the lift went wrong.

Neil and Chloe did a fab job in all the dances again- I noticed that on the recap tonight!

Also, did we get Louise's slomo jump at a different angle today? It looked better than I remember it being yesterday.

Chicago routine was lovely.

ppeatfruit · 04/12/2016 21:10

Well the chicago dance was very good, those dancers are so supple and talented , I thought Katya and Nat did very good lookalike impressions of the Cath. Zeta Jones and the Brigitte Jones girl.
It was time for Rinder to go, he was a good sport.

I LOVE Ore, he's lovely, so nice to have a man who can show his emotions and he's not a ringer!!!

I love musicals too so really enjoyed this weekend's.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 04/12/2016 21:20

I LOVE Ore, he's lovely, so nice to have a man who can show his emotions and he's not a ringer!!!

Sigh. Just for the record, Danny's not a ringer either, given that the definitions of a ringer all suggest someone who is deliberately attempting to deceive or cheat or lie about their experience.

Why is there so much dislike directed at Danny because he can dance? Confused

MrsJamin · 04/12/2016 21:40

Danny was in a musical for years, he's had dace training, he was good at the beginning and he's good now. He shouldn't be in strictly. IMHO!

WouldHave · 04/12/2016 21:50

I do like watching Danny dance, purely because it's enjoyable to see it done so well.

Tanaqui · 04/12/2016 21:52

Louise was a judge on so you think you can dance!

But it must be impossible to get any actor or pop star without any dance experience- all stage schools do some, and all pop type performers do some kind of movement on stage/in videos.

GrouchyKiwi · 04/12/2016 22:04
is an example of how much dancing he did in Wicked. I don't think it would have conferred that much of an advantage...

They've always had a mix of ability on the show. It would be pretty boring in the early weeks if everyone was crap.

Runny · 04/12/2016 22:09

I have a huge girl crush on Katya, she's beautiful and amazingly talented. Seems genuinley nice as well. I can think of certain pros who would have balked at the thought of dancing with Ed, but she approached it with everything she had and he did actually improve over the course of the series.

glitterandtinsel · 04/12/2016 22:11

Oksana with her wobbly lip and chin made me want to hug her.
Louise is bland and has the same facial expression each week.
Ore's dance was so boring.
Claudia was sooo cute. Her dancing is much better than Louise.
Danny wonderful as usual. I found him quite attractive as he came over all 'Don Draper' manly in that dance. It's weird as I don't find him attractive usually! Actually last week was attractive too. Blush

glitterandtinsel · 04/12/2016 22:13

Forgot that Elaine's dress looked like it was made of cobwebs. Tess had another couple of awful dresses, someone should tell her 'no, just no' and put her in something flattering. Loved claudia's red shoes.

Runny · 04/12/2016 22:21

I think I want Claudia to win now. I loved her Lion King dance. The judges are so harsh on her though.

QueenMortificado · 04/12/2016 22:22

Grouchy how could you even watch the dancing when he is wearing such tight, pale trousers????!

TimTamTerrier · 04/12/2016 22:23

I agree that if Danny really was a ringer then he would have pretended to be a less able dancer in the early weeks. He is a good dancer and he has been completely honest about his ability. He's never done ballroom before so he is learning most of the techniques from the beginning just like all the others. Anyway, being good has been a huge disadvantage in the last 5 or 6 series because the public get all offended by someone being naturally talented and won't vote for them, and in the final it's totally down to the public vote. If a celeb's aim is to win Strictly then what they need to aim for is average but improving.

Runny · 04/12/2016 22:24

I also found Danny attractive during his dance last night, despite not actually fancy him otherwise.

Clawdy · 04/12/2016 22:25

Judges harsh on Claudia? I don't think so.

derxa · 04/12/2016 22:27

I think I want Claudia to win now. I loved her Lion King dance. Me too. It was brilliant.

SoupDragon · 04/12/2016 22:45

ringer
ˈrɪŋə/
noun
noun: ringer; plural noun: ringers; noun: dead ringer; plural noun: dead ringers
1.
informal
...

a highly proficient person brought in supplement a team or group.
"officials had packed the squad with ringers"

Theromanempire · 04/12/2016 22:52

Have to say that at the start of Danny's dance last night when he led Oti onto the dance floor, the look he gave her was pretty hot Blush Blush

Team Claudia all the way here now!

FookyNell · 04/12/2016 23:39

Considering he was he only person that got me justice (and £1500) for my smashed up car, I was gutted to see Judge go, even though it was the right thing technically.

ilovesooty · 04/12/2016 23:47

the public get all offended by someone being naturally talented

I think some of that's dependent on which pro dancers they're partnered with
