The last thread is almost full, so I thought we'd be prepared.

Despite the title I do love the Blackpool week really Fingers crossed for a nice ballroom dance from the pros.

Apparently it broke two of his teeth Poor Gorka.

I agree Claudia's jive just wasn't up to scratch. AJ always seems to go for speed in his choreography whenever he possibly can: he needs to realise that being able to produce a lot of steps quickly doesn't make anyone a good dancer. Overall I do find them very dull as a couple, I've stopped listening when they turn up on ITT.

Monkseal agreed on Twitter that Greg was actually better than Claudia in the dance-off. I genuinely couldn't see why, if they do actually base it just on the dance-off as they claim, Greg went home. They clearly just wanted to keep Claudia in based on her other dances.

wannabe I had figured that was the reason for Nugget but still a bit i guess it could have been worse and been Blob or some thing I am sure Mrs Greg isn't bothered as she gets to go home with him

The general consensus on Digital Spy is that Greg should have stayed based on the dance off...yet another decision based on whatever the BBC's agenda is

I doubt that there is any agenda involved in saving Claudia; I think it's just that the judges have got it into their heads that she's the better dancer and find it difficult to let go of that.

Wasn't Claudia one of the early favourites to win, along with Daisy?

Apparently the BBC have said Gorka will be dancing next Saturday, so he must be OK.

I hope they give him a starting time in a group dance.

Maybe it's just as well Greg is out. All that emotion and tears from Nat and Greg was a bit OTT to be honest, and a bit disrespectful to his wife, no matter how confident and secure she is.

He's meant to be having dental surgery today if reports are to be believed.

I agree with you Inkata. I don't know what Nat was like with her other partners, but it can't do her any good to get so attached when at some point that partnership will have to end.

Awful news about Gorka

Claudia is the better overall dancer but her Jive was awful and Greg's performance was superior.

The "agenda" is probably because Claudia is booked for the tour.

Re Gorka, I am disgusted with whoever did it to him.

Someone said earlier up thread that the atmosphere was odd on the Sat show. Maybe this disgusting attack happened before filming it?

I've read before that the tech crew hate Blackpool - some of the equipment has to run from outside and they always have trouble with drunk people.

I so agree with the 'Greg was robbed' team . I have a hunch that the dances themselves were strange.

Even in the dance off Claudia did badly and clumsily. I can't understand what the judges saw that we didn't . (she seemed put off by the other dancers) though she is sweet to say thank you to them at the end.

I also thought that A.J. was showing off big time, it's not about him FGS. Imo the choice of the song 'handjive' for a quickstep was weird as weird can be!!!!!

Oh I'm really about Gorka. I was only thinking in the Astley group dance what an amazing dancer he is, so effortless.

I have decided that I now LOVE Louise and I want her to win! she dances beautifully and seems so genuinely delighted and amazed to be staying in. If Ed Balls wins SCD it would be an absolute travesty and I may have to give up on the show, which I have watched since it began

After A. Nat is my fave dancer and I don't think the emotion was OTT or 'inappropriate' at all. She's just very feely and emotive as she likes her partners.
