Gather here if you want to lick Monica and Marcus and kick Greg(g)

Sally you are a sick puppy. Sad

GrouchyKiwi · 24/11/2016 21:13

I just had a yummy apple pie.

Happy with the result. Last groups next weeks?

SallyGardens · 24/11/2016 21:31

For not liking chocolate desserts or developing a crush on Sitwell 😄

PapalYoungPretenderMortificado · 24/11/2016 21:44

Chocolate desserts - I know that none of us can control our ovaries - they like who they like - so although I may shake my head sadly at some people's Fantasy Shags, I would never judge them.

(Unless was Greg(g)) (vomit emoticon)

GrouchyKiwi · 24/11/2016 21:44

Definitely both.

Davros · 24/11/2016 23:46

Can I hijack please? Has anyone been to Tredwells which is Marcus's restaurant in 7 Dials? I'm booked to go on Saturday lunchtime for DSis's birthday but we could go almost anywhere, too much choice! MN doesn't seem to have a restaurant topic so I'm asking you foodies

OneInAMillionYou · 25/11/2016 18:47

Excellent standard from this week's chefs, shame they were clumped together in the same heat!

I cannot comprehend that Wallace has landed such a plum presenting job. Marcus and Monica must surely hate working with him?
I feel much the same about Tess and Strictly but that is a whole other thread!

If any BBC execs read Mumsnet, PLEASE get rid of GW!

fourquenelles · 29/11/2016 20:00

How was the meal Davros? Hope you enjoyed it.

Hello! Placemarking.

See there's a Scot on tonight. Scots do not tend to do well on MTP 😕

2kids2dogsnosense · 29/11/2016 20:03

I've never seen an artichoke quite like those . . .

fourquenelles · 29/11/2016 20:03

Hi Beans

Funny vegetable artichoke. So very little left after all the prep.

GrouchyKiwi · 29/11/2016 20:03

There was lovely Scottish Adam a few years ago who should have won (was in the final). He was on this year's Great British Menu.

I love artichokes but they are a hell of a lot of effort for such a small amount of edible vegetable.

2kids2dogsnosense · 29/11/2016 20:04

Greg(g)'s gurning is worse than Rinder's(and he lacks Rinder's charm)

2kids2dogsnosense · 29/11/2016 20:05

My word - he''s anugly little scrote, isn't e?

(Sorry, God - that wasn't kind . . . )

2kids2dogsnosense · 29/11/2016 20:08

Oh the shame - doesn't understand what an artichoke is . . . (I thought his looked more appetising than Monica's)

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 29/11/2016 20:09

I love artichokes, when you dip the leaves in butter and eat the soft base. The choke though is awful to cope with.
I spotted flowers on his plate.
Curse of fine dining!
Evening all!

I do love when they make exactly the mistakes Monica/Marcus mention when they're showing the dish.

LineyReborn · 29/11/2016 20:09

God he's so nervous.

fourquenelles · 29/11/2016 20:10

Flora is the new "crumb" this year I reckon

OP posts:
2kids2dogsnosense · 29/11/2016 20:10

He is, isn't, poor lad.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 29/11/2016 20:11

A little shake of marcus' head there.

fourquenelles · 29/11/2016 20:12

What has Greg(g) done to his eye bags. On my telly they are bright purple. Think he has had some work done?

2kids2dogsnosense · 29/11/2016 20:12

I'd love to see Gregg cook some of these challenges - patronising little ***
