A large premise of the series was the returned servicemen.
Brodie had been held captive for years. How it affected him personally and his loyalties.

Now it looks as they are dealing with a more direct aftermath, but still dealing with the "casualties of war".

I hope they give him a fairly prominent role.

YES! One (or more I think?) died in an ambush somewhere along the border with (I think) Iraq. Brody and number 1 beard got taken and then beard was shot.

Hello can I join because I'm confused! Did Carrie and Otto date?? Can't remember that from the last series but I've had a baby in between and to be honest can't remember much at all.

Meth makes you a bit livelier, doesn't it? And you don't smoke heroin like that. And opium would be really retro, so I vote crack.

So we're Carrie and Otto properly together in the intervening years, as he says he misses Franny.

That was bloody bleak - although Quinn as the third Oasis brother has amused me. Madame President Elect is like a young Theresa May and is going to end up mad and bad, I reckon.
How is Carrie going to get back in the CIA/working with Saul etc? Or are the story-lines just going to run parallel until they collide? Otto clearly thinks she should be working with the bigger boys.
