Yes we are.
What a nerve wracking watch! Those poor little marine iguanas.

PGTricks · 06/11/2016 20:29

OMG frightening weren't they. Was so pleased that last iguana got through!

SoleBizzz · 06/11/2016 20:31

So nerve wracking and frightening!

So pleased too. Can you imagine being ship wrecked upon that island!!

The yellow beaked grey faced birds are adorable.

I always imagined snakes hunted fir their prey individually not in a group like that!! It was fascinating.

I'm watching!!!!!

SoleBizzz · 06/11/2016 20:38

I watched Mutiny on The Bounty yesterday. I wished I was in Tahiti. Now this glorious programme of islands.

The crabs.. wow

ineedaholidaynow · 06/11/2016 20:40

Hated the snakes.

SoleBizzz · 06/11/2016 20:40

Me and DD agree those snakes are the creepiest thing we have ever seen including anything sci-fi

SauvignonBlanche · 06/11/2016 20:42

I've never liked snakes but like them even less now!

SoleBizzz · 06/11/2016 20:44

I put my feet up onto my sofa watching the snakes. I fantasised about standing upon a high rick and shooting the snakes with precise aim. Boom!!

Reindeerlily · 06/11/2016 20:46

Jesus wept I turned off when them freaky snakes were wrapped around that lizard. Nightmare material.

BossWitch · 06/11/2016 20:49

Never had a problem with snakes. Those were fucking terrifying!

I like the penguins.

Goodythreeshoes · 06/11/2016 20:55

Such dedicated parents ..

BossWitch · 06/11/2016 20:57

Dammit. I'm now overly emotionally invested in the penguins! I could never be a wildlife doc maker. Help the poor, bloodied, broken-legged penguins, please!

lilyborderterrier · 06/11/2016 21:03

Brilliant but harrowing, nature is cruel !

ineedaholidaynow · 06/11/2016 21:04

Had to explain to DS that the camera crew can't interfere with nature Sad

Friolero · 06/11/2016 21:09

That was amazing, beautifully shot, it's incredible how they get some of the footage. David Attenborough's voice is so calming too, I could listen to him for hours.

I loved the sloth at the beginning, hope he found the female sloth in the end! And those penguins, that's just brutal living there. I agree the snakes were terrifying, I have a snake phobia so had the blanket in front of my face for most of that bit.

Can't wait for next week's!

Cocolepew · 06/11/2016 21:11

God those snakes were like a horror film!

AnyFucker · 06/11/2016 21:12

Brilliant programme

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 06/11/2016 22:09

Wonderful, wonderful programme. Worth the licence fee all on its own.

WalkingToMordor · 06/11/2016 22:36

Cocolepew that is exactly what I said to dh!!

SealSong · 06/11/2016 22:38

Fantastic but poor penguins Sad

Budgiebonbon · 06/11/2016 22:55

Worth the TV licence alone!

Shouting 'run run run' at the baby iguana, don't know if I could have coped if it hadn't made it. Cue snake nightmares though!

Who knew sloths could swim Shock!
