Hello! New here but big Affair fan.

Really enjoyed the past two episodes with Alison and Cole involved but found last night dull too once it was Noah's half. I really don't care about him.

Great to see the return of Bruce and Margaret though!

Yes I love Bruce and Margaret! Hideous but entertaining.

I enjoyed the latest one, although last week's with Noah and Alison on Block Island was better.

Was the bit at the end just him in the lake because he was hallucinating?

Any Affair episode that lacks Josh Jackson is not up to par.

Is it just me or is this series feeling off? I used to love Helen but this week she was almost as insufferable as Noah. Sleeping with Max was a new low for her, I was so pleased when he told her to fuck off.

What is Noah smoking that everyone wants to sleep with him even though he's absolutely vile?

Well the thread is absolutely dead which I think says a lot about how people feel about this series.

Absolutely loved it,it's great.

Helen was really unlikeable in the last episode. It's the first time I've felt that way about her or really seen that side to her. I'm torn between Vic telling her to fuck off and him sticking around because I like him. Like pp, I'm glad Max told her to fuck off though.

The Noah bits are the worst and the dullest. I don't know if this is supposed to be that way or not.

I'm just hanging in there for JJ. When he's around everything is bearable.

I really like the way the writers play the audience: season 1 was about an affair but not a simple one (grieving Alison added depth to what would otherwise have been Noah's holiday fling), season 2 was a spectacular fuck up of the said affair, something I have rarely seen depicted so well, and I feel that this season's goal is to make us like Noah who was an arsehole of epic proportions in season 2.

By the way, has anyone else picked up on his reply to Alison, who in episode 5 makes warms him that she would shout 'rape' if he touched her? He joked 'well technically, we are still married, so...'

Could anyone anyone tell me what happened in episode 6 at the end, after Noah's son repeated 'I hate school'? The episode was cut short at that point when I watched it.

I said that the word rape had been mentioned more than afew times pages back. It has to be relevant somehow.

I don't think this season is making us warm to Noah at all. Infact I'm wondering if it's time to end it full stop. It's just so dull.

Yes Helen annoys me too. I have no patience for characters who are in a relationship but don't fully commit to it and who randomly shag the rest of town while trying to cope with their unsatisfactory life instead of JUST BLOODY TALKING TO OTHER PEOPLE. All of the sex scenes could have been replaced with a simple question: 'Do you care about me?'. But no, talking is too complicated apparently.

I've never liked Helen. Or noah, although I do feel really sorry for him now.

I hate Alison & although I like Cole, I hate his current fawning over Alison.

Helen is just so messed up & like her parents-couldn't bear when it wasn't about her or she didn't know best!

Did Noah tell his sister that Helen was driving then?

I guess that Noah was hallucinating when Helen turned up.

Presumably that was his younger self that he saw at the age he was when his mum died.

I don't think Noah told his sister but I do think she knows something is up and why he would confess

Ref Ep 7. I personally didn't feel the need for two points of view, why Noah bought the knife though ? Did he cut himself with it? Was he even ever stubbed ? Its obvious that he is not being followed but illuminating....

Hard to tell. Noah sees Hellen wearing her top off her shoulders, strutting around while Helen was all covered up in hers Would that suggest he still finds her attractive or that she was trying to seduce him back? Mind you, it doesn't take much convincing to get into Noah's pants
