Don't think the wedding could be prior to afghan as he had 5 medals on his blues but beck said he was on his 4 tour in series 1 if I remember rightly. Although I could have made that up I'm knackered now what with all the excitement

I know woof is less than enamoured with Elvis, but can we all remember that we saw more of him in the first few minutes of this episode than we did of Molly and CJ in the Bailbrook House scenes and back at his house.....

The medals were Kosovo (I think), Iraq, Afghan and the two Jubilee medals I believe. You only get one medal for each campaign so if you've done more than one tour in eg Afghanistan you only get the one medal. So number of medals doesn't necessarily relate to number of tours unless every tour was a different campaign

I had heard that one of the jubilee medals would only have been there had CJ been in the army aged 12. Maybe he's cheating and sticking on his DofE Gold medal (he so would have done DofE gold, the kiss arse)

He had 4 medals at smurfs funeral mads. And yes pix*, he so would have done DofE gold.

Haha pixie - he must be doing even worse at getting promoted if he's been in since he was 12! And I think that's probably right - second from the left is (I think) the golden jubilee medal which he (I think) would have had to have already served for five years by 2002 so perhaps rather than joining at 12 he's actually about 47?!

Ditto mads my DH skulked off to bed before 10 thinking he was making his point, but as I was holed up in DSs bedroom totally absorbed despite background Spotify music, kids taking showers, general bleeder yah boo I missed his show of defiance, hah!

Well if he is 47 that explains the dodgy teeth

Ok away from CJ and Elvis (sorry woof) - the kidnap of the aid worker character, Kiki, happened a bit quickly and I found it hard to work out what exactly was going on in that camp, who's in charge etc but I suppose Georgie doesn't really understand it either, so we're in the same boat as her. I assume that Kiki will reappear when it gets to rescue time.

Also keep forgetting to feel worried about Mansfield, let's hope it's just a flesh wound.

I liked the comment they make about CJ "He likes a medic!" reminds me of Smurf's snide comment about Molly when he was trying to blacken her reputation.

bit worried about CJ as well... if he just marches around looking hot and saying ASAP that will be gratuitous and I'll be disappointed. Something's got to happen to him to make us care... remember when we spent a week worrying that he was going to die? That's the most intense involvement I've ever had with a TV series/fictional character... so this series better not disappoint!

not that I wouldn't object to a bit of CJ naked shower action Woofy we've definitely been cheated out of that!

Bottom line folks is that you have a full week to wait to find out what happens next..............

In the meantime, I might have to replay the Elvis/Georgie scenes at the beginning a couple of or twenty times.
