Now I'm not watching the Angus/Elly scenes. Won't be much left at this rate.

I can't tell where she stands on that. She hasn't shut him down much and when she does its on an odd fashion. Is she going to do a Kate it will it be different and he leaves school to be with her? Will it just be nothing?

Is the odd close ups of eyes and mouths etc related to the story or have they just been on a 'new ways of filming' course?

Almost everything else in Neighbs at the moment is completely ridiculous - not least the surrogacy storyline - but he is a great character

What's going on with Elly and Angus? Are they together? That scene was a bit weird and creepy. I havent watched for around 2 weeks and just caught up on the last few episodes, it was just weird!

My David theory is that he has an "illness" that requires some form of blood transfusion/organ donation from his dad - hence the search urgency and he is also being heroic and not getting involved with anyone in case they get hurt when he dies. I think Karl will redeem himself by curing brad and David...

Elly and Angus aren't together but haven't watched today's. Think she's enjoying the attention but just can't figure out where we are going with it.

Father Jack has bad taste in women. He should stick to God (and I say this as a non-believer).

Ellie looks about ten years older than Angus. She wouldn't look twice at him, it's a ridiculous story line. Nearly as silly as the surrogacy thing.

Was up lots in the night with teething baby and started thinking about Neighbours, as you do. Suddenly struck me that in yesterday's ep, Steph did quite a long, lingering "Josie's mum is nice isn't she" type thing, which reminded me of when she was randomly hiding out from Ari the snake guy and bonded with Josie's other mum, Mark's boss. Do you think the surrogacy agreement will fall apart (it's ridiculous anyway as they've only been seeing each other 5 mins) because Mark will talk to his boss about their struggles and then Steph will get close to the surrogacy consultant and it'll all end up with Steph dating one of the mums? Stranger things have happened...

For some reason I still haven't thought of what the surrogacy people would think of their short relationship, just that everyone else hadn't acknowledged it.

"...ok... Erm... And you live together?"
"No, we tried it but she hated it"

Maybe it will be that Mark gets jealous and acuses her of cheating but nothing's going on but I guess they've already done that with Belinda

Agreed MiddleClass - it could just be jealousy that breaks them up. I just think Neighbours is so ridiculous about sexuality- e.g. every gay or potentially gay character has had a "moment" / affair / relationship with the Aaron because he is the current resident gay character. Before that it was Nate. So I'm sure the writers won't be able to resist something happening between Steph and one of two established, albeit peripheral, lesbian characters...

Has Dr David got it in for Karl? Just seems a strange coincidence about the complaints.

It's often hard to tell if people are being evil or just bring crap actors though!

I think it was him who dobbed in. Think he's after Karl's job, access to records etc. The news the nurse reported him came from David.

In fairness, Karl has a million jobs to fall back on even if he isn't doing them at the mo.

Does he still have loads of jobs? His bar has been turned into a community centre and Gary Canning appears to have ousted him as 'person on neighbours you'd least like to imagine having wild sex'.

Please say we won't have to suffer through a Right Prescription comeback storyline....

Maybe he could have one of Susan's spare jobs.

He can do his writing at the very least. He could get a job anywhere with his extensive cv. We listed a lot before not long ago. Prob not as many jobs as Susan.

Pharmaceutical sales, band, novelist, columnist, counsellor, bar owner... Is there more?

And he knows how to grow his own veg and raise livestock. The world is his ouster for the probable 2 months he is suspended before being found innocent (that's how it normally happens, right?)

Caught up now with last two eps. How have Mark and Steph still not come up with a plan as to where they will live even after the meeting? How has it not come up as a question they should discuss? At least Tyler has sorted it for them
