I think Sonya was drugs but might be wrong. None of them have really competed with Phil Mitchell levels of drunk lol. I do love Neighbours softer versions of things. Especially when someone becomes an alcoholic over two weeks then at aa meetings.

middle class problem the answer to your first question is 'reeeaaaally unconvincingly'. It is particularly jarring as it was one of those casting changes where VJ went away to visit someone aged 12 and came back 24 and no one batted an eyelid. He's also supposed to be in a relationship with an 'older woman' and she looks younger than him.

Wasn't Sonya basically addicted to everything? She appears to wear a piece of floaty clothing in a different colour to represent each vice as far as I can tell.

That's annoying as when I watched it we watched the vj actor grow up on screen. There were like 8 Lucy's in neighbours. She really have so many faces it's always surprising when she comes back with the same face (although she was my favourite Lucy)

It was around the time of his affair with Izzy - his drinking problem is long forgotten. Bit like his daughter with Izzy - Holly - she's not been mentioned for ages.
