Just caught up. I only really like the bits where they cook in the studio, the rest not so much. Very tenuous excuse to cook for the Chelsea Pensioners, no sign of anything much to do with the Queen's birthday.
I agree that Sud is being lined up to win. I don't like him or his crispy fucking chips. He's got eyes like pissholes in the snow or, as we otherwise say in this house, eyes like sheep's c*nts
Louisa is very Head Girl. Isn't she the one who died body building? I may be mixing her up with another breakfast woman.

Gregg really annoyed me in that last challenge. They were asked to cook something inspired by a person close to them. By that very nature the dishes were going to be homely dishes, so don't then complain that Jimmy's dish is simple and doesn't show skill. What did he want him to do?? Say oh this dish is inspired by Heston and I'm going to show off multiple technical skills?!
Also feel sorry for Alexis and anyone who cooks anything non-English for Gregg coz she chances are he won't be able to comprehend it. According to Gregg all dishes should consist of:
Meat
Two veg
Potatoes of some sort
Sauce/ jus/ gravy
That's it.

We are staying in a hotel on Thurs and Fri so no chance to record... and Sunday we are on the plane to Canadia where you can't get BBC iPlayer... this could be a disaster like the Rev's burnt sponge

I think, as much as I like him, the right person went home. I will personally hunt down Gregg and feed him foreign food if Sid wins though.

Ugh ffs sid has a bloody cook book out. How can he be in this? And he's a passive aggressive little shit. My sis worked in makeup at EE abs always said he suffered terribly from little man syndrome.

I think it was very unfair to eliminate Audley.

I agree sid is horrible. And I have some inside info - they all have to complete a questionnaire before they sign on to MC and questions include: favorite/least favourite food, food you cook a lot/little, food you never cook etc etc.

They will have known the vicar can't cook desserts and Audley won't have made pasta. And likewise they will have known louise cooks curry every Friday night and sid has cooked kofta etc. The programme is massively engineered to oust certain people and it really makes me cross.

I would love Jimmy to win. I don't care about fancy schmancy. I want food cooked with love. By a man who has a face that shines with joy.

I am terribly distracted by Sid's bags. He could cook the best meal in the world and I wouldn't even drool. I would just want to be getting two teaspoons out of the blast chiller to shove on his orbits.

It's rare that I ever want to meet a celeb, but I'd love to be friends with Jimmy, he just seems to genuine and happy on every programme I've ever seen him on.

Ah I didnt realise Audley went. I thought he was really good. I too do not like Sid. I think as someone who owns restaurants and has a cookbook out, he shouldn't have been allowed to partake. I do hope he doesn't win.
I also only like the bits they do in the studio, and not the challenges in the open air kitchens, the pro kitchens, especially after they have only cooked once. I like it when they go the the michelin star restaurants and learn some amazing techniques in the week before the final.

I don't mind the Michelin starred restaurants, not for the contestants' cooking, but so I can fantasise about plan going to them

If Audley hadn't had to make that ravioli he'd still be there.
I'm disliking Sid more with every episode.

I wanted to dislike Jimmy but he's lovely. Jimmy for the win!
