This has been a good series. I'm going to miss it. I think alexis was the best on the day and the right winner.

Bake Off isn't far off, and there must be another professional Masterchef coming up soon.

I love these threads. You all make Masterchef so much fun.

Greg is all over the BBC at the moment. He's on some show with another Greg-alike teaching gormless eejits how to cut their £500 a week shopping bills.

Sad to have only discovered this thread during the final.

This is reminding me of the great sorrow I felt when 1970s Brendan lost the Great British Bake Off.

Ah yes - the greatest miscarriage of justice in the history of culinary telly!

We were outraged in our house, outraged!! Then 15 year old daughter was beside herself!

Now you've gone and stirrred up all me emotions again thinking about poor 70s Brendan getting robbed the way he was.

Great one. Gutted for Jimmy but Alexis cooked his butt off there so right decision I think.

My internet is playing up so I've watched the final in mini instalments - rang virgin media three times to get me online so I could see who won!
11 series of the Real Hustle, so surely I can't be the only person who watched it. Would have been lovely for Jimmy won but the joy on Alexis face was lovely to see, and I'm glad he stuck to his Greek roots in his final dishes. That was a really enjoyable series and I'll miss it. Onto GBBO now!!

What the feck was that with Greg looking puzzled, concerned and amazed when Jimmy produced his smoke? He'd have to have been blind not to have seen it when he was plating up originally.
