Ok, so who is the baby daddy?

Simon looks about 18 at this stage.

SymphonyofShadows · 30/07/2016 21:27

I fell off the last thread as I'd stopped watching. What is happening about Callum's murder? Have the Police now decided that Tony did it?

NuggetofPurestGreen · 30/07/2016 21:40

Think so Symphony even though not sure they really bought it.

eddiemairswife · 01/08/2016 10:29

It seems that Caz won't be Maria's next conquest. (Spoiler from next week).

southeastdweller · 01/08/2016 11:08

It's Aidan. Two of the most boring characters in the show so pretty well matched.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 01/08/2016 11:40

Christ can they really not think of any other storyline than people cheating on each other with improbable people?? We already have the secret one night stand with Leanne and Steve and now this!

NuggetofPurestGreen · 01/08/2016 11:40

And Robert and Carla just before that.

SymphonyofShadows · 01/08/2016 11:58

Steve and Leanne are just so ridiculous and they are channeling Friends again with the 'on a break' thing. Just like they did with the fugly bracelet and the packed lunch at work things.

OSETmum · 01/08/2016 20:47

Yeah the Friends rip offs are just silly especially as they're copying some of the most famous scenarios. Or are we supposed to get the links and think it's funny? There'll be a storyline with Nick trying to bring a new sofa up the stairs next. "Pivot!" 😂😂😂

Housemum · 02/08/2016 16:21

The same as with jobs, you can only have sex with people who live in the same street. Yawn.

Maybe Sean will have a rebound relationship with Ken next? Or Bethany and Norris? They will have to build another takeaway for Faye (nonexistent at the moment), Simon and Amy to work in when they leave school (Adi and Asha will obviously be in the shop) - heaven forbid they go and work in town, or in an out of town supermarket/electrical shop/toy store.
Next friends rip-off will be Michelle going all Monica and dragging Steve into cupboards to have sex as it's baby-day.

eddiemairswife · 03/08/2016 16:05

Izzie is released from jail next week. I think it's really strange that nothing has been mentioned about her since she was sentenced. No stories about family visits, or how Jake is missing her, or even if he is staying with Anna or if Gary is living at the flat with him. It is almost as if they started the story but then Kylie was killed and it had to be abandoned.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 03/08/2016 17:17

I saw something the other day that said Gary is thinking of making a go of it with Izzy for the sake of Jake, but Anna talks him out of it.

This is a shame, because I would like them to make a go of it a long way away from Wetherfield. And take Anna and a coach load of others with them.

Placemarking

PinkPearls20 · 03/08/2016 18:05

The lad that killed Kylie was meant to be only 13....he looked about 23 to me Hmm

Clawdy · 03/08/2016 21:58

Seriously? The actor who plays him is eighteen.

PinkPearls20 · 03/08/2016 22:34

Yh they said he was 13 the other night

AnneEyhtMeyer · 03/08/2016 22:45

13??? That's ridiculous. He is way older than that. Corrie is hopeless at casting.

OP posts:
NuggetofPurestGreen · 04/08/2016 11:28

I thought they said 15?

eddiemairswife · 04/08/2016 12:22

Yes, 15. But he looks older.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 04/08/2016 14:23

Oh yeah looks about 25

panegyricS1 · 04/08/2016 15:22

The "playgroup" thing was absurd. As is "picking Amy up from school" when she's at a local secondary. They can't seem to write for that age group. They're either infantilised, or getting knocked up like Sarah Lou and Faye.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 04/08/2016 15:53

What about when Amy was moving in with Steve and she had to wait for Michelle to come and collect her. From Ken's. Next door.

southeastdweller · 04/08/2016 19:28

I actually thought I'd misheard that about Clayton being 15 Shock. Absolutely crap casting choice there.

Clawdy · 05/08/2016 22:57

Sean weeping and wailing tonight was just ridiculous, and revealed what a limited actor he is, fine for waspish little comments and banter behind the bar, but certainly not for emotional scenes. Were we actually supposed to feel sorry for him?

accidentallyonpurpoise · 05/08/2016 23:15

I wondered about that too Clawdy. I didn't feel sorry for him and it annoyed me that Eileen just enabled his self pitying by her pathetic mumblings of 'sorry' and 'don't go'. Ffs. It's not like they were having it off behind his back. Shit happens. Deal with it, man!
