Jason leaving has to help, he is more wooden than a clothes peg.

I wish Kym Marsh was properly leaving too - I feel they are taunting us with what could have been with all this cruise ship talk.

Anna's pants may have been cheap, but that coat was a £120 Seasalt mac! Roy must be paying her a good wage! A friend of mine who has the mac googled the images of that scene and said Sally and Tim looked as though they were chuckling in the back ground.....

loinnir · 14/11/2016 17:35

No Babbas yours was not the only family. We all had a right laugh - especially at Anna's bad (acting) jazz hands iwhilst squealing. We also laughed at David's over acting when Kylie died (although we love David and would hate to see him leave - he just needs to get in touch with his inner peanut thrower more often - what a classic scene).

Powergower you are right. No one ever has any ongoing problems as a result of their horrendous injuries either. Sinead totally cured after a very short time - no backaches or leg problems at all despite sitting at a sewing machine all day and no compensation claim against Steve's insurers. Hope - cured, end of - as if! Anna will be racing around again by next week no doubt. No one at the hospital mentioned that she lived in an upstairs flat when discussing going home (although perhaps she still has the invisble stairlift that Izzy uses when she visits)

A few questions:
Where does Gary live - with Izzy or Anna ( at the miraculous 2/3/4 bed flat above the bookies)?

Does Ty own his house outright (inheritance from Jack?) Is he a partner in the garage or an employee now (think he sold his share when he and fizz ran away to Ireland) and how did he manage to repay Kev the loan to pay off the payday lenders by selling Rita's old washing machine and doing a few shifts at Streetcars? Was that storyline just dropped?

eddiemairswife · 14/11/2016 17:44

Someone has just mentioned Cathy's house. What has happened to it?

Powergower · 14/11/2016 17:53

Ionnir- yes I like David too when he's given the right story. He was great as evil David worth the best one liners. But since kylie started/left the stories have been plain daft.

FantasticButtocks · 14/11/2016 18:08

I'm afraid I just can't bear Cathy, find her difficult to watch. And how has she gone from being a hoarder to just being normal, I really don't think that could happen without some major psychological intervention, and even then... Another one I can't bear to watch is Fizz, with her ever-quivering lower lip/jaw and her awful facial expressions...
And actually another one I'm not keen on is that bloke who goes out with Steff, the one who pretended to be Les Dennis's son, and then everyone just got over it ffs; he's so wet, so moany, whiny, self-centred and pathetic, I'm not sure what on earth lovely Steff sees in him...
Just trying to think if there's anyone I do like at the moment... Hmm
(Can't stand Gail by the way, never could)

ProfYaffle · 14/11/2016 18:12

Babbass and loinnir we were laughing too. Had to rewind the jazz hands to make sure we hadn't imagined it!

FantasticButtocks · 14/11/2016 18:15

I did like Kylie. And Becky, she was excellent!
And I did like Eileen. But since she's been duped by Phelan, not so much.

FantasticButtocks · 14/11/2016 18:18

And Carla was great! (Just realising all my favourites have gone Sad )

Olddear · 14/11/2016 20:37

Isn't Anna using her crutches the wrong way round?

hippyhippyshake · 14/11/2016 21:16

Would the police be that horrible? The female officer has been really nasty all along.

Akire · 14/11/2016 22:07

Murder story is far fetched. She would have had kill her without minutes of being home. Get rid of the body without a car or having a garden and no one in busy street seeing.

Surely if the arrest her wil searxhbher flat again and find the cameras? Or least find video of one cash point of Caz.

I'm glad Graig gets to apply to police again that could work out well. Think Faye is living at dads still as less work for Anna though confused why bedding on chair as thought Gary would stay in Faye's room.

Laughing at Anna's I can get my own glass of water. Er I think you find you can't walk on crutches and. Sorry a glass of water at least not in her state.

loinnir · 15/11/2016 13:08

Yes - using the crutches the wrong way round - ha! Wouldn't get very far. The whole Caz story is the pits -how do you even get a bug that can pick up any conversation that well. you usually need multiple bugs in a room - Caz is quite the super spy.

Think it's weird that those on the Street that have been Her Majesty's guests are the quickest to want to dob others in to the police - looking at you Jenny and Fiz (in the past)

thecitydoc · 15/11/2016 15:35

last night when Maria was put in a cell we were trying to remember how many characters on the Street had done time in prison – some on remand – Ken, Kevin, Deidre, Tracey, Rob, Steve, Jim, Tyrone, Fiz, Gail, Garry, David, Dennis (in his first stint), Terry Duckworth, Peter, Graham, – any others?

ellenanora5 · 15/11/2016 17:20

I think Rita spent some time in jail, didn't Cilla accuse her of hitting Chesney once.

Comedyusername · 16/11/2016 01:40

Did Leanne ever get caught when she was a prostitute?

loinnir · 16/11/2016 09:24

Leanne - who is now such a paragon of virtue that she sneers at Peter - burnt her restaraunt down to get the insurance, was a drug addict with associated behaviours (I think) and a prostitute (escort) but I think she has always managed to avoid going to chokey - only the mostly innocent seem to get put in prison in CS.

Patienceandchocolate · 16/11/2016 09:39

I admit that I know very little about this, but how can Maria be arrested for murder when there is very little evidence that someone has actually died?

Caz has disappeared and some of her blood was found in the flat, but with no body why have the police reached the conclusion that she is dead and Maria killed her?

Surely the police would spend some time looking for Caz.

Comedyusername · 16/11/2016 10:32

loinnir
They do seem to have short memories.

And izzy was in the slammer recently too

eddiemairswife · 16/11/2016 10:36

Do the police know definitely that it is Caz's blood? I haven't heard anyone mention a DNA test. Also, why is Jennie being so unpleasant?

Rachel0Greep · 16/11/2016 15:19

I had to switch off on Monday night when Johnny found the scissors. Please can they just end that silly storyline. It's pathetic.

Housewife2010 · 16/11/2016 16:32

Emily was locked up when she had been demonstrating with Spider.

absolutelynotfabulous · 16/11/2016 17:35

Am I the only one who doesn't have a clue who Caz is supposed to have killed?

Rachel0Greep · 16/11/2016 17:52

I haven't been watching much but it's supposed to be that Maria has killed Caz.

absolutelynotfabulous · 16/11/2016 19:10

Oh! That makes perfect sense Confused...Grin.

Olddear · 16/11/2016 19:11

Where has all the blood come from??
