Jason leaving has to help, he is more wooden than a clothes peg.

I wish Kym Marsh was properly leaving too - I feel they are taunting us with what could have been with all this cruise ship talk.

True test of an actor is playing someone who is drunk. Craig failed that one.

Olddear · 13/09/2016 11:04

All that angst over a cardboard cake....

Clawdy · 13/09/2016 14:14

Definitely cardboard! People were toting it around as if it was light as a feather. Isn't it strange how little sympathy Sean arises, no matter what happens? He is so self-pitying.

Greenteandchives · 13/09/2016 14:18

At least Ozzie is alive and well, and has been fed. Smile

SoTheySentMeA · 13/09/2016 17:31

It's weird because they all profess to be friends with Sean but every time something shit happens to him (and he has had some rather shitty things happen), no one seems to care at all. If he's having a row with someone, no one ever seems to take his side (like with the whole billy&todd thing). Not that I feel any sympathy for him either if I'm honest, he irritates me. Maybe that's how all the characters really feel.

windmillsofyourmind · 13/09/2016 22:15

Sean irritates me too. I hate any scene he's in. He really can't act, but then he's not on his own there.

Akire · 14/09/2016 22:16

I thought Craig being drunk was quite good, apart from when he was sick and Sally walked over it and went to bed. Surely Sally would cleaned it up properly not leave to hopeless Tim? Like way he sees Tim as a dad and Faye like a sister.

You think first thing you want to know is what crime your father had done , especially since 18y is long
Strech.

Hard believe bistro coulnt have got a shop cake and pipped some cream or icing on it.

Are we supposed believe caz will somehow worm her way into what's her names bed now? Even though she wasn't keen on the kiss?

Xmaslover · 16/09/2016 20:41

I hate gullible naive Eileen, what happened to gutsy smart Eileen who took no crap when she was first on the street?

Optimist1 · 16/09/2016 20:52

Much as I dislike Todd, I'm rooting for him getting the truth out about Phelan's plot before the money from the business disappears!

Xmaslover · 16/09/2016 21:03

Did anyone else think Phelan was going to push Eileen off the building? Or take a picture of her near the edge and threatening Todd?

Hope Todd gets the upper hand tools

JustDanceAddict · 16/09/2016 21:13

I thought he was going to push her too? Where's she gone with Ian Kelsey?

windmillsofyourmind · 16/09/2016 21:13

Has Anna never warned Eileen about Phelan. It's so annoying that she's so gullible about him.

theliverpoolone · 16/09/2016 23:38

Really hoping Todd doesn't fall in with Phelan.

Seeing Freddie and Luke in the Bistro tonight made me think they missed a trick not casting Freddie as Luke's (and Steph's) dad or grandad - they look very similar facially!

MissBattleaxe · 17/09/2016 00:26

Yes Anna did warn eileen and Eileen didn't listen.

MissBattleaxe · 17/09/2016 00:28

Is anyone else wondering why Rev Billy serves Weatherfield but lives in a vast antique filled rectory in the Cotswolds?

CandODad · 17/09/2016 08:10

I said to DW that if that's what the priest gets where must the bishop live? Our local village rector gave up a village rectory many years ago too so I wonder how realistic it is. Also didn't Jason have £40,000 to invest? Are we expected to believe that £40,000 would have been the finishing touch needed to be able to start a redevelopment of three Victorian mills?

Xmaslover · 17/09/2016 09:40

What is Phelans plan, to just get Jason 's money but never even work on the redevelopment and just disappear ?
Or to get Jason's money and do the redevelopment but steal off more people on the way?

eddiemairswife · 17/09/2016 10:39

There must be very little crime in Weatherfield for two lots of police to turn up immediately within minutes of being notified.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 17/09/2016 14:29

The latter Xmas get people to invest and never build the apartments.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 17/09/2016 14:30

Sorry I mean a mixture of both. Get Jason's money and the buyers' money and not build anything!

NuggetofPurestGreen · 17/09/2016 14:31

Todd would never fancy someone like BoringBilly. I'd imagine him with someone like Christian off Eastenders.

pussinasda · 17/09/2016 18:03

i love the phelan/ todd scenes you cant beat a good baddie
is roy going to buy bunk beds for him and cathy Grin

theliverpoolone · 17/09/2016 21:47

No spoiler mentioned, but FFS I went and read in a TV mag about how the Todd/Phelan situation pans out - and am Angry to put it mildly......

AlasEarwax · 20/09/2016 21:59

So do we reckon Todd is actually double crossing phelan by joining him? He's pretty smart but I know deep deep down he wants to protect his brother and mum...he had a pretty quick change of heart, going from hating phelan to suddenly working with him.

Or am I completely missing the point.... Is it plainly obvious what Todd is actually up to? I do tend to switch off when YASMEEN and Sharif and maria are on screen
