Like Dylan, he went to a state school. It was in a "naice" (mumsnet speak) area full of middle class children. His parents aren't from Scotland. Ken's grandson , Adam (?) who turned up in it a few years ago as a child was from Bearsden. Lol at grapes!

Hate the way they have made it so Sharif has been having an affair for 7 years.

If the affair had been going on for that length of time they should have included those sorts of scenes as soon as he arrived on the street? Would have been much more interesting than watching Sharif fight over an allotment with Roy, or being duped into thinking his chickens were laying eggs!

They could have just made it so he was just starting an affair, but even then it doesn't seem very true to character.

DH never watches Corrie, but saw the anniversary episode. He automatically assumed Zeedan and sister were their kids, not grandchildren, because of the ages they all look.

And typically the partygoers are a few neighbours from the street. They haven't any other friends???

Clawdy I think they look roughly the right age (early 60s) to have grandchildren in their late teens and early 20s.
