It was so boring - what with Maria simpering, Luke in bits, Aiden looking guilty and Gemma OTT (and of course Nick doing his flirting bit with a hen party (gaaarhh)) and Gary gazing into the distance soulfully every time Izzy is nearby

I was beginning to wonder if everyone was on holiday and not watching. What on earth was Gemma wearing last night? I noticed that Caz was wearing army clothes and said she was going to the barracks. Is there any reason why she isn't living there, or is she barred because of the upcoming court-martial?

Agreed. There is more energy put into discussing their own lives and business than serving customers, for sure.

Robert is the chef and part owner, Nick is part owner but what's his role if Leanne is the manager?
And where is Zee now? He's got to come back, there's no other chef jobs about unless the Rovers is going to expand its menu!

The episodes on Monday were so boring. Aidan and Eva are probably going to get together again when it all comes out about him and Maria because there's not much else to do with those characters apart from be together and be another boring Corrie couple. Shayne Ward is a crap actor and Eva's affected giggle annoys me.

Why is Maria still in it? She brings nothing to the show. She can dress up as a donkey, shag half the male residents, marry a gay man - none of which make her an interesting character. What a waste of space.

I found the scene with Liz and Leanne in the pub's back room quite touching, and a reminder of how well Corrie used to do real human emotions.

Another one who's wasted is Erika why oh why is she on devs shop!!! She seems pretty decent actress but no story lines at all. I would last 1h in ship before I'd have to rip off the covering from the Windows!!

Something just occurred to me the other day: Peter Barlow. Why didn't they cast a Scottish actor to play him? Surely he'd have a Scottish accent! He spent from the age of 5 onwards in Glasgow and then joined the Navy.

He hasn't spent long enough in Wetherfield to acquire what the producer thinks passes as a Mancunian accent (it is actually quite broad East Mids).

Yes, Erica has a rather...expressive..face. I think she's a bit wasted really, as an actress.
