Posh Ygritte is around 1.35

Middleoftheroad · 03/07/2016 23:15

Ah Sky Atlantic have been reshowing season 6. Just about to watch episode 10 again to try to fill the void.

SootSprite · 04/07/2016 08:30

I'm glad they kept Sean Bean's accent, he does a posh voice in Goldeneye and it doesn't suit him (but I like him sounding northern Blush).

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 04/07/2016 09:04

Agh yes, thanks every!!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/07/2016 16:00

Oooh, how might Jon awaken stone dragons? I still think there has to be some link to the stone dragons at Dragonstone, but I don't see what Jon Snurr would be doing there.

AliceInHinterland · 04/07/2016 16:06

So are there stone dragons, ice dragons, water dragons and fire dragons? Any sand dragons or similar?

CaitAgusMadra · 04/07/2016 16:15

Cheddar I agree there's something important about Dragonstone. There are lots of hints in the books. Some eggs there waiting to be hatched? Is it possible that Dany will go to Dragonstone as her first port of call in Westeros?

Thought this was a nice nap. My geography (of Westeros and in real life!) is pretty bad. I've just realised that The Arbor is an island

I always thought Shireen was the stone dragon, but she is gone now Sad.

I still do not think it is meant to refer to a real dragon. In past prophecies dragons always referred to members of the Targaryen dynasty.

With my tinfoil hat on, it could be a dragonseed born in the Vale, who would have the surname Stone.

It could be something in the Winterfell crypts.

In the books Rhaegar's rubies that fell out of his armour are said to be his descendants. Could be connected.

The stone dragon can be Brienne who is from the Sapphire Isle and is a Targ descendant. Same for Sweetrobin (but more distantly related to Targs) who is from the Vale.

I loved the Easter egg list where they pointed out that being born under a red bleeding star could just refer to the sword Dawn.

Don't know if this has been shared already but I have a sneaky suspicion that we will see more of Lyanna Stark in the next series... instagram.com/p/BG2eudWik6V/

SoTheySentMeA · 04/07/2016 19:23

In rather hoping the above means we will see a flashback to the tourney at Harrenhal, where it seems several very important plot lines converged. Jamie being made kingsguard, Lyannas betrothal I Robert, Lyanna meets Rhaegar, Lyanna and Howland reed, Tywin and Aerys etc

I don't expect the white walkers until end of season 7 now - in fact I think they have split the season into two shorter ones so that the wall falling will be the final scene of season 7.
I think next season will be putting everyone in place, Dany on the iron throne, agreements to send more men to the wall etc, but by the end of the season it will become clear that's not enough.

Fall of the Wall at the end of S7 sounds about right to me too.

Then S8 shows what happens next.

SoTheySentMeA · 04/07/2016 22:48

Well the legend of azor ahai says that in order to forge lightbringer (his super special sword that kills White walkers) he had to cool the blade by stabbing his wife in the heart with it. Now, I don't want you be all doom and gloom, but do we think there's a chance that that's Sansa's fate here? I mean now that Jon is king in the north it's seems like there isn't much for her to do unless she goes plotting with LF. It just seems like killing his sister might be the sort of sacrifice Jon might have to make in order to win against the night king...

Trills · 05/07/2016 08:02

Jon already has a sword that kills White Walkers.

Maybe that's how they made Valyrian Steel in the old days.

Maybe it ties into the training of the Unsullied, where they are given a puppy and have to kill it at the end of their training - someone remember that "killing something you love" was important but didn't remember WHY.

Sweetpea021 · 05/07/2016 17:40

Regarding The propecy re Dany giving birth, it was:
When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. Only then would her womb quicken once again...
It doesn't actually say she's barren - maybe these events will somehow appear to come to pass when the White Walkers begin the battle in earnest
And she will give birth to an heir, I'm still putting my money on a Jon/Dany dynasty.

Sweetpea021 · 05/07/2016 17:44

Does anyone else think that Tyrian has fallen in love with Dany? The way he looked at her when he said that Daario 'wouldn't be the first and won't be the last to love her', I'm sure his stage direction was - you're in love with this woman but you can't make a fool of yourself by telling her!

AdultingIsNotWhatIExpected · 05/07/2016 18:16

He clearly did tell her, with bells on!

EverySongbirdSays · 05/07/2016 19:08

Trills

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Kingsman?

Has anyone seen the video on Facebook of Cersei/Davos/Arya aka Lena/Liam/Maisie at a refugee camp in Greece

I'll see if I can source it

Theories on Dragons and the Winterfell crypt

AliceInHinterland · 05/07/2016 20:15

I'm pretty certain the Dany prophecy is a riddle and those things will happen. I don't know about Tyrion being in love with her, I'm sure it will be clearer in the book. I'm still hoping Sansa and Tyrion reunite and she appreciates that he was a decent guy (for not committing marital rape - what more can you ask for in a man).

calamityjam · 05/07/2016 20:44

Trills, the unsullied had to kill a newborn child in front of it's own mother as their last test. They then gave the mother a silver coin.

TheNorthRemembers · 05/07/2016 22:24

I think the unsullied had to kill both a puppy they raised and a newborn in front of their mother.

SoTheySentMeA If they properly show the tourney at Harrenhal, there is no need to mess about with the White Walkers, Dany and the rest - they are all completely boring compared to that. That story is awesome. There is no way, they would have a budget for that. But why would they need a new Lyanna? The tourney was less than two years before Lyanna died.

EverySongbirdSays · 05/07/2016 22:39

North

Am I thinking right that Lyanna competed in the tournay on the sly?
