I like to imagine that Littlefinger's accent goes all over the place because it is not real. He's trying to sound more upper-class than he really is.

I meant why AG didn't use his normal accent throughout, or if it's a character thing why there isn't more consistency, eg using one accent at court and another with Catelyn. It just seems to slip all over the place.

I knew Aidan is Irish, he was in queer as folk wasn't he, with Charlie Hunnam, someone else who is shit at accents and managed to make Dick Van Dyke sound like a son of Peggy Mitchell

Thought you'd all like to know that I saw Clive Russell, aka the Blackfish, this morning. I know he used to live in our area but I haven't seen him for ages. I barely restrained myself from asking if he was really dead. I've just looked him up on IMDB and am astounded to see he's 71. He's very well preserved.

Talking of well preserved...just back from Ab Fab film, with a host of stars. Gwendoline (Brienne) is in it and there is one bit at a party when somebody says 'it's Brienne - of Tarth' so odd seeing her without armour. She looks great!
