Sooo, to recap:
Cersei has claimed the Iron Throne. Jaime is back with her looking grumpy.
Where is Dany intending to land? I think Dragonstone. Isn't there a WoW chapter published where a Martell princess winds up in Dragonstone as a hostage? I bet they take over Dragonstone and consolidate/wake stone dragons/Tyrion learns to ride a dragon before heading to King's Landing and killing off Cersei.
How long is Sam going to stay in Oldtown reading all the books in the library? And what will happen with baby Sam?
Wtf with Sansa and Littlefinger?
Where's Brienne - oooh, maybe she meets Arya!
Where's Nymeria now that Arya is back in the Riverlands?
Is the Blackfish really dead? Am starting to doubt it after that conversation.
Will Melisandre go and join up with the BWB and raise Lady Stoneheart after all? Where the crap is the Lady Stoneheart plotline going in the books? It doesn't seem to fit into anything. Arya is supposed to have a bittersweet plot - maybe she encounters Lady Stoneheart and has to kill her own mother. She's in the right general area now for a meeting, plus she knows the most about the BWB from her wanderings pre-Braavos.
That chat about Dany meeting someone who will love her - who? Who? I don't think it will be Tyrion - he may still turn out to be her half-brother (I think - son of Aerys and Joanna Lannister, plus I like the theory that Tyrion and Sansa will eventually be reunited and she will ask to sleep with him). Jon? I think there will be something with the formerly dead characters where they all die again eventually (which is not to say that Jon won't love Dany and then die tragically. Again). I can't really think of any other eligible male characters left in it Jaime belongs to Brienne, even if he does have a thing for blondes, so maybe it will be Yara after all. Although it is promised that she will have another baby and/or Drogo will be returned to her, and I have zero idea who that is going to be. Gendry? Maybe he rows into her. Looking at it from another angle, she was talking about marrying for power - who could she marry from a political point of view? Jaime is now Lord of Casterly Rock; Sweetrobin is Lord of the Vale; Jon is King of the North; Euron Greyjoy is King of the Iron Islands (although she can't marry him because she promised the islands to Yara); there is no heir to Highgarden; or Dorne; the Baratheons are wiped out apart from Gendry, who isn't high-profile enough; she's not marrying a Frey because ick; Jorah is dying of greyscale and isn't powerful enough anyway; Theon has no cock. She has to marry one of the Great Houses - Lannister, Stark, Baratheon, Arryn, Tully, Greyjoy - is that about it? There are an awful lot of dead heirs. I think out of that lot the only viable options are Tyrion or Jaime, or Jon. Or Sweetrobin/Littlefinger.
