Dragon sexing could be based on reptile sexing regarding femoral pores and anal glands I suppose?

NeedACleverNN · 27/06/2016 21:48

Course he knew Margaery was there. He was made aware that the trial for Loras was about to start near the beginning before the mountain intervened.

He would have known she was there for her brother.

Since the mountain doesn't leave Cersei or at least wander very far he might have suspected she was behind the whole thing but still too upset to understand anything and went bye bye

LadyStarkOfWinterfell · 27/06/2016 21:49

A servant came to him afterwards and told him 'I'm sorry' so he would have known margaery was there and also that cersei wasn't.

Trills · 27/06/2016 21:50

Tommen either thought Cersei was at the sept, or thought Cersei was the one who blew it up.

Or was not sure but knew that one of those must be true.

Either of those would be enough, I think.

OlennasWimple · 27/06/2016 21:52

RJ - carefully! WinkGrin

I'm wondering how many other lines are going to die out (show-wise, at least). Wun Wun was the last giant, various houses have come to a complete end or will probably lose key characteristics - eg the hair/eye combo of pure Targaryans), no more Unsullied with the end of slavery and barbarism; maybe this is the real end of the dragons too?

TheNorthRemembers · 27/06/2016 21:53

I loved Wedonotsow's catch on Jon's thinking he is not Aemon Targaryen, but book Jon is almost certainly Viserys to fulfil Visenya's role in the Targaryen conqueror trio.

I loved Lyanna Mormont having part of Wylla Manderly speech and in Dorne we heard the spine-tingling justice, vengeance, fire and blood - line.

Book Tommen may be pushed out of the window by Obara or whichever is the septa sand snake.

I pray to God that Sansa will show some loyalty this time and gets rewarded for it. They are increasingly looking like a couple with Jon.

Tywin had loads of siblings, and so did his father. There are literally hundreds of Lannisters.

In a roundabout way most show characters got to where they are in the books in terms of development. Jaime - disillusioned, looking for redemption, Cersei - mad. Not Tyrion.

I can only thank for PPs for fantastic insights. I have noticed very little of it.

TheNorthRemembers · 27/06/2016 21:55

The dragons in this universe are both male and female. Forgot the term. Sorry.

NeedACleverNN · 27/06/2016 21:55

Best casting yet I think

Hermaphrodite dragons?

RJnomore1 · 27/06/2016 21:57

I'll still love it if it turns out Sam is the real hero.

After tonight's football money on Sam!

Cooroo · 27/06/2016 21:58

Nothing much to add, but what an amazing episode! Still want to know about L and R - love or rape? And how on earth are Bran and Meera to travel with neither horse not Hodor? Almost forgot about referendum. April seems a long way off.

Trills · 27/06/2016 22:02

Lyanna sounded proper Northern didn't she? :o

RJnomore1 · 27/06/2016 22:03

I'm googling - it would seem dragons are not so much hermaphrodite as gender fluid. A good point I found - two dragons chained up alone for months and didn't turn on each other.

Did one of them claw a nest in the ceiling in the books?

NeedACleverNN · 27/06/2016 22:04

Gender fluid dragons......now that's a thought Grin

LadyStarkOfWinterfell · 27/06/2016 22:04

Lyanna did sound northern. I noticed that Jon and robb had accents whereas arya, Sansa and bran don't really. I wonder why?

Trills · 27/06/2016 22:07

Maybe the older boys spent more time with the men at arms, whereas the girls and younger boys spent more time with their mother.

NeedACleverNN · 27/06/2016 22:09

There is loads of them! And I love em all!

Though there is quite a callous one that says you ever wonder why it's called kings landing? And shows the scene of Tommen standing on the balcony

THAT WAS AWESOME! I agree about the timing - the first bit with Cersei was best. I absolutely did not see that coming, with Tommen. I thought Cersei would cause his death but I didn't think of suicide, and it was so shocking the way he just steps smoothly out the window without pausing at all. Nor did I see Cersei putting herself on the throne! I thought it would be Jaime. She is going to turn out to be completely nutso now, though. And I was really surprised that she took out Margaery as well! I reckon that's Olenna's fault for bitching up Cersei in one of the last episodes.

Really not sure what Sansa and Littlefinger are going to do now! I don't think Sansa will betray Jon, but something's going to happen!

Which way do you reckon Arya will go now? North to Winterfell or south to King's Landing to kill Cersei? Although I still think Jaime will kill Cersei. Maybe Tyrion will after all in a nice little double-bluff - I am still convinced Tyrion will wind up riding a dragon, so perhaps he can burn Cersei.

Felascloak · 27/06/2016 22:15

Can someone explain cerseis claim to the throne? Or is she a proper usurper?

Crumblevision · 27/06/2016 22:20

I've long held a theory that Jon Snow is Robert Baratheon's son. I remember RB saying to Ned S that Ned's sister (Lyanna) was the only woman he ever loved . . . . .

Trills · 27/06/2016 22:20

Cersei is THERE.

She just blew shit up.

That's her claim to the throne.

NeedACleverNN · 27/06/2016 22:21

What Trills said I suppose

After all that AND the mountain are you going to go up against her?!

Trills · 27/06/2016 22:22

My claim to the throne is

Who's gonna try and take it form me, huh? Huh? Yeah, I thought so.

NeedACleverNN · 27/06/2016 22:23

He could still be a Baretheon I suppose....his father was never confirmed was it?

And Jon has black hair compared to what Dany and Viserys had.

The Robert will kill him part though? Doesn't really line up does it? Why would he need to kill his own son?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/06/2016 22:23

Funnily enough, Cersei actually is the next heir to the Baratheons, if you ignore the fact that men inherit first in most feudal kingdoms sexist fuckers. We were speculating last week that it would be Jaime, but actually, Cersei is the firstborn.
