I could not be more torn over the outcome of this match.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 30/06/2016 20:07

I heard one of the vommentators earlier saying that 16 seeds had been lost already today. I wonder if that is some kind of record.

trixymalixy · 30/06/2016 20:08

I'm the same. I'd like both to go through really!! It's nice to see Bouchard back on form.

GrouchyKiwi · 30/06/2016 20:08

Bouchard really did step it up for that final set. Such a shame for Jo, but it's nice to see Bouchard doing well again.

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:08

Thiem might be another one, if he doesn't get to grips with this.

SpaceUnicorn · 30/06/2016 20:09

FUCK!! Angry

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:11

Poor Jo. Can't say I'm a great fan of Bouchard.

And Come on, Dom!! If he does manage to win this set, it would help him if it rained...

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 30/06/2016 20:12

Yeah for a while last year when she was acting like a spoiled brat I was embarrassed that she was Canadian, but now maybe not so much Grin

trixymalixy · 30/06/2016 20:14

Ow, they just showed that ankle injury. Made me totally shudder.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 30/06/2016 20:15

I do like it when players sign stuff and talk to the young fans.

Ewwwwww the commentators are FAWNING over her.

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:15

See, that is why supporting players, regardless of nationality, has it's benefits.

I'm no fan of Murray, whether he's winning or losingGrin.

Bouchard does appear very high maintenance.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 30/06/2016 20:16

Trixy I can't believe she kept playing!

CremeEggThief · 30/06/2016 20:17

I don't often say this, but from what I saw today, the quality in the women's matches was much better than in the men's. Sorry for Jo, but Genie was very good and a shame too for the young girl playing Aga. Just watching what looks like the end of Thiem's match now. It's the first time I have heard John Lloyd commentating at Wimbledon this year. I like him. Bet he got sick to death of Andrew Castle, as they were always paired at one point.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 30/06/2016 20:18

Raahh no kidding. The school she went to in Montreal is vair posh indeed.

trixymalixy · 30/06/2016 20:20

I can't believe she kept playing either! What a shame for her.

Bouchard definitely needed taking down a peg or two. Hopefully she'll be a bit more humble and less divaish after a year off form.

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:21

Another tie break for Thiem/Vesely.

It's not looking good for Dom. Though that shot was stunning.

All my favourites are losingSad

GrouchyKiwi · 30/06/2016 20:22

I agree, Creme. I often don't enjoy the women's matches but there have been some belters today. Wimbledon is such a great tournament.

Not looking great for Thiem.

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:23

Hearts- well, given her parents name her and her sister after Royals (they weren't to know they would grow up be 2 of the most mocked!), they clearly had delusions of grandeurGrin

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:24

BOLLOCKS BOLLOCKS

COME ON THIEM!!!

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:25

Good challenge!

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:26

NO!

Sad
GrouchyKiwi · 30/06/2016 20:27

Not only that, but her brother is named after Wills and her other sister after Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco.

Tschuess, Thiem.

SpaceUnicorn · 30/06/2016 20:29

Bet he got sick to death of Andrew Castle

He'd find ample support for that viewpoint. Grin

SpaceUnicorn · 30/06/2016 20:33

I cannot listen to Andrew Castle without picturing this:

[WARNING: once watched, this can never be unseen]

Raahh · 30/06/2016 20:34

HeartsGrinThe Bouchards are clearly a bit royalty obsessed.

Today has been pants. At least Raonic is through. Playing the Jack Sock next. He still has one of the best namesGrin.

I'm assuming the Delpo/Stan match is tomorrow. I'm very torn on that. I want Delpo to win- but if he's not 100%, he might not get much further. Argghhh!
