John Inverdale is driving me nuts! Did anyone hear him commentating with Peter Fleming during Queens? Can't remember the particular match but every comment John made, Peter was disagreeing with! He was so obviously annoying Peter - and I know exactly how Peter felt!

Inverdale must have someone by the short hairs at the Beeb (and ITV). He seems to know little about all the sports he's involved with.

He does seem to know very little. In fact, I bet most of us here could do a better job of commentating! Although in my case I might be a leetle tiny bit biased during certain matches!

aw - did you see Tsonga carrying Gasquet's bags off the court? Love them both - sad to see Gasquet out and, as the commentator said, Tsonga wouldn't want to go through that way either.

Going: Compare his play now with the first set. He was really great in the first set; now he's not even making the easy shots. It's an attitude thing and his stinks.

I've been doing the makeup for the Year 6 play. Almost as much fun as watching the tennis!

Because he's generally much better. You can tell the difference between someone who's phoning it in and someone who's putting in the effort but is being outplayed.

Kyrgios has form for being a huffy brat.

Yes DH and I were just saying that Krygios needs a coach like Lendl to whip his butt (or brain) into shape - he obviously has oodles of natural talent but needs the discipline and mental strength. He could be amazing, or he could be a total waste of talent, which would be a shame.
