Well that was dramatic.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/06/2016 09:45

Grin VG, BB! Your own invention?

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 20/06/2016 09:52

Watching now...

maggiso · 20/06/2016 10:08

Good point BB, Theon could get some support from fellow sufferers!
I have just watched it- with the added atmospheric shouts and screams coming from playing field across the fields, during the battle scenes. It really did look like Jon - and all the force would be killed. So Dany has her ships and all the dragons are now free ( the two smaller ones were only unchained by Tyrion, not let out by the gate, as far as I could tell).
Who was the 3rd guy (with the masters) who was not killed by GreyWorm? Could he be significant?
What would be the penalty for Cersys 'crimes' if she is found guilty. Would Tommen

WeDoNotSow · 20/06/2016 10:37

RIP Ramsay Bolton, he was an evil sadistic literal bastard, but he was a funny fucker

WeDoNotSow · 20/06/2016 10:40

May need to change my NN to 'WeDoSowNowBecauseItsPartOfTheDeal'

What do you's think??

OlennasWimple · 20/06/2016 10:50

I meant that the way the show has depicted the Bolton sigil in things like the shields and flags (navy background, white and red cross) makes it look v like a union flag - I know the British have had some dark periods in our history, but not a predilection for sadism surely?

I thought Ramsey enjoyed his beating from Jon

Is Sansa pregnant? "There's a piece of me in you". Though she surely has to marry LF now

Death by drowning, thirst or other non-combat causes was relatively frequent, historians believe - so pretty accurate

NamelessEnsign · 20/06/2016 10:51

Holy fuck. Just watched it and was pretty spellbound for most of it.

The opening in Mereen was pretty dramatic in of itself! And there was all sorts of Dany-Yara ogling going on. I don't thinkYara's 'no more' was in the least bit persuasive, but I suppose they each have bigger fish to fry before that becomes an issue.

For a minute there I really did think Rickon might live. Sansa's right though, he was a threat to everyone, including what she and Jon are trying to achieve. What is she going to do when Bran finds her?

Littlefinger is a slimy bastard though isn't he. Rather convenient for him that they turned up when Jon's army was all but destroyed; he has all of the power!

RIP YunYun. And a fitting ending for Ramsey (I could happily watch the rest of the show without any more torture.)

NamelessEnsign · 20/06/2016 10:52

Also, what did Ramsay say after "you can't kill me" - I tried several times but couldn't catch it?

HandbagCrab · 20/06/2016 11:04

I thought that was a great episode! Glad Jon prevailed and Ramsey got his comeuppance. I'm glad Tormund and Davos survived too. The suffocation scene was intense.

I like Sansa and I like that she used Ramsey's dogs against him! She couldn't rely on littlefinger so she couldn't say he would come and fight for them. I suppose we can all rely on littlefinger to take winterfell and/or Sansa next week though.

I liked that Dany can finally move on and that the dragons are free too! Love a dragon.

Badders123 · 20/06/2016 11:05

That was some of the best to I ha d ever seen ShockGrin

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 20/06/2016 11:09

Defnitely agree smiling jamie is arya - tying in to my two truths and a lie prediction last thread Wink

I watched that entire episode through my fingers and holding my breath!!!

pyrowall · 20/06/2016 11:11

Having watched the trailer again Jaime could very well be Arya, but Jaime is still alive - don't the faces have to be dead to be used?

Although, Arya saw her own face when blinded...so I dunno!!

WeDoNotSow · 20/06/2016 11:13

All this Rickons dead lark, and not one of them thought to grab The Red Woman and be like 'alright Mel, fancy having a go at breathing life into me little brother'

WeDoNotSow · 20/06/2016 11:17

Nameless He said 'I'm part of you now'

UmbongoUnchained · 20/06/2016 11:23

Cried a little when the giant fell, that was so sad!

WeDoNotSow · 20/06/2016 11:24

So who flayed him?

WeDoNotSow · 20/06/2016 11:26

More sad for the giant than Rickon, Rickons o thought ooh that was a good camera angle very 300 lol

SootSprite · 20/06/2016 11:37

Well, that was well worth waiting for. Fantastic episode. I laughed, cried, cheered and then did them all again.

Loved every minute of it (apart from wun wun dying), thought it was fab.
I know next week won't be as 'edge-of-my-seat' as this one but I'm hoping it's still a goodun 😍

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 20/06/2016 11:40

OMG that was fucking amazing!

I feel emotionally drained now.

What an episode.

Shop · 20/06/2016 11:55

Delurking to say omfg!! That was amazing.

I never post as I don't have anything helpful to add but I LOVE the book stuff being discussed alongside the show. I think the balance is perfect. I haven't read the books but will do once the TV show has finished.

LaBelleOtero · 20/06/2016 11:56

All this Rickons dead lark, and not one of them thought to grab The Red Woman and be like 'alright Mel, fancy having a go at breathing life into me little brother'

I think the way it works is she asks some God and he brings them back if they're important. Rickon wasn't important to anyone, sadly!

LaBelleOtero · 20/06/2016 12:04

It was an epic episode, but pretty predictable too - of course Rickon wasn't going to make it, of course Jon was going to defeat Ramsay, of course Littlefinger would show at the last minute. And with three dragons to CGI now - of course poor Wun Wun had to go!

I feel irritated because last weeks episode would have been hugely improved by the dragons scene, and they had room for it. They held it back deliberately because they want to win Emmy's and Golden Globes for this one. It's a bit blatant...

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 20/06/2016 12:07

It was brilliant, but yes, pretidctable. But good-predictable, because sometimes it's nice for things to go the way they should on this show! Grin

RIP Wun Wun. (But soooo glad Davos and Tormund made it!)
