Oooooh it was good!

Battle was very tense

Whitecovers · 20/06/2016 21:05

I'm just about to rewatch, I couldn't enjoy it earlier with all the suspense!

I agree with a pp, I said to Dh that it looked as though slight things were happened to save Jons life - like divine intervention. (If that's either right saying!)

Ramsey seemed to be getting off on being beat up, it was only the last second or two he seemed to show fear.

Can't wait for Dany to come across!

Whitecovers · 20/06/2016 21:05

Oh shits sake, excuse the typos

pickledpears · 20/06/2016 21:06

Amazing episode. I really thought Jon was going to blow it during the rickon scene.

I think this series has been better than the last one but it's so frustrating that we have weeks of relatively boring episodes and then an amazing episode like this and not enough time for the loose ends to be tied up next week.

Predictions for next week anyone?

Middleoftheroad · 20/06/2016 21:06

Going 2 watch it for 3rd time after the footy. Theres a player called Ramsey.

Thanks Every more Bran flashbacks are always welcome.

Watched next week's trailer a few times and I so want Tommen to get his.

Jon hasn't been on form lately. I think in a battle you need Daario or Bronn or Brienne/Jaime. Jorah was a bit tired last time... but he does have Greyscale in fairness. I did like Greyworm's double throat slash. Maybe he's not so dull after all.

God I love skipping through the breaks

Trills · 20/06/2016 21:10

Yara's arse is brilliant.

Mumanddadtoone · 20/06/2016 21:15

Lady Mormont was at the first meeting between Jon and Ramsay but didn't see her again, do you think she's at Winterfell or on her way back to Bear Island, i cant remember seeing her with LS and Sansa.

Mumanddadtoone · 20/06/2016 21:16

Yy to Yara's arse

Trills · 20/06/2016 21:19

I am seriously inspired to do some squats.

EverySongbirdSays · 20/06/2016 21:19

That section where Jon is being crushed is claustrophobic as all fuck.

Trills · 20/06/2016 21:20

The crushing section reminded me of World War Z.

Mumanddadtoone · 20/06/2016 21:23

"Happy shitting" fucking love Tormund

EverySongbirdSays · 20/06/2016 21:24

Unlike others I don't think that Sansa is smilng with satisfaction that Jon might die but that she has saved the day herself in the end.

I think their conversation next week (Sansa/Jon) is basically him asking why she didn't trust him to tell him she had written to Littlefinger and nothing more sinister than that.

I think the Sansa/Littlefinger is her tell him to go fuck himself after she got what she needed

The trailers are nearly always red herrings

Two thoughts:-

Poor horseys

Swoons thought, if I had someone shooting arrows at me I wouldn't run in one straight line. I would zig zag. That Rickon story line was a bit pants really

not finished watching yet

NeedACleverNN · 20/06/2016 21:28

I agree I think Sansa was smiling as she knew they had the an advantage. Sansa knew Ramsey was a clever manipulative man, she too had to be equally manipulative. She even tells Jon this that you have to know what he's going to do, she knew rickon would be killed. By holding back information on littlefingers army Ramsey instructed all his men to crowd the remaining of Jons army only for little fingers army to come rushing in to wipe out the rest of Ramsey's army. They wouldn't of had this advantage had Sansa told Jon and they joined the army at the start. They will able to over power the last remaining men and enter winter felt. Sansa reminded me of her mother. She was determined to win the war and played a very clever game. As she stated she lived with Ramsey and knew his intentions. I've been saying for ages she's pregnant with Ramsey's child.

lozabella · 20/06/2016 21:44

Delurking to say. Oh. My. Fucking. God. Absolutely loved this episode. I read this thread every day week and love reading about the books (haven't managed to read them yet).

I was another screaming at Rickon to run zig zag. Stupid child. Wasn't expecting him to make it so no big sadness there.

I loved the Dany/Yara scene. Power couple right there.

Cannot wait now for next week!

ICanSeeForMiles · 20/06/2016 21:45

Oh my god. I properly cried when Rickon was taken down even though I knew it was coming.
Best. Episode. Ever.

NeedACleverNN · 20/06/2016 21:47

Wow that was fantastic.

I thought the Lady Bolton and newborn baby scene was horrid but that Ramsay scene was brutal...and I fucking loved it!

Will definitely have to watch it again as it did get a bit much at one point so I got a bit lost.

Next week will certainly be interesting!

Whitecovers · 20/06/2016 21:47

How come they don't carry shields in battle?

PuckyMup · 20/06/2016 21:47

I think I am the only one who doesn't like how Ramsay died..

For me, death by hounds is his thing (and yes, I see how its fitting) but I think he'd have been far more surprised/shocked if Sansa had walked right up, looked him in the eye and stabbed him, even if it wasn't the fatal blow - would have just been a real kick in the balls that not only had she escaped but she had bitten back
