Well, today is the first time I have actually cried at voting results. Genuinely at a loss to sum up my feelings on it all. Watching Glasto coverage and about to hit the chocolate and ff.

I know what you mean mooj. I'm not normally a political person but this was something quite different. I didn't cry but I feel really unsettled.

Not even sure what word covers the atmosphere in Scotland today - utterly astounded. This has been one weird day.

I didn't even buy any holiday euros pre referendum!! fuck

Yes a very strange day...I feel quite unsettled too.

Been spending past few days washing getting ready for the weekend as me, DD, DH are going to Warwick on Sunday for DH's presentation thing on Monday. MIL and FIL coming up tomorrow to look after the boys here.

I've been wavering between rage, pragmatism and despair today. I'd calmed down a bit then MrP got back and he's really annoyed about the whole thing. I know I'm a pessimist so I hope this won't come to pass but I think the next few months/years as we sort this mess could get pretty ugly.

I need to read up more pix on the whole EU subject. I can never find time to read anything.

Still hoping it's all been a bad dream.....

Northern Irish are being encouraged by their politicians to get Irish passports - even unionists are getting in on it. Never thought that would happen. Think getting boys Irish passports from babies may have been a very good choice

Morning. Sunny and warm here so hope that helps to lift my spirits. I too woke up hoping it had all been a dream and things would be 'normal' again. Chatting to my neighbour last night (who held the ladders when I rescued my cat) and realised his views weren't the same as mine so I just let him ramble on without saying much to the contrary. Kept wanting to tell him he was an idiot but bit my tongue. Consequently I was even more fed up when I came inside again!

Yes ilove I had the same all afternoon! Where I liv voted out by a much larger majority than I would ever have thought as well, so I guess it's going to happen a lot over the coming weeks and months...

The whole campaign has been incredibly toxic. It was odd being out shopping with my cousin yesterday afternoon when things were whizzing around my head yet outwardly folk were just out doing normal stuff. I think we need to keep our heads down and see what happens.

Sunny here today.

We're going down tomorrow mads and then back Monday after the presentation. DD and DH will have to go back to work/school on the Tuesday. I had to get special permission from the head teacher at DDs school for her to have the Monday off.

Got washing to do to get out the way today and then await the arrival of MIL.

Hope all goes well kelly, and with the MIL. I've checked in with the kids this morning and no dramas yet with MIL in charge.

Strange atmosphere at our hotel. It's very Spanish, I would say 90/10%, I felt quite embarrassed. When we handed over our passports at check in we did get a raised eyebrow, maybe it's me being paranoid!
