This just goes to show how good women are at multi-tasking - can sort out two men's injuries and shoot a terrorist at the same time.

............ and this is roughly where our friendship on here started as we were all so desperate to find out what happens in the final episode. We were Googling like mad and found ourselves on here. I'd never posted before and it felt really strange!

Yes, I started out on another discussion thread and hadn't ever posted anywhere before but then googling around I found this one and laughed so much at all the comments and theories and ideas and loved all the shared thoughts. So, yes, here we are still almost two years later - wow!

Have enjoyed that Rhu - not sure where the others were tonight! I think your comments were more in depth than mine! Do you remember how desperate we were to try and find out whether she got Smurf or CJ in the end. I desperately wanted CJ but I remember a few people on the early thread rooting for Smurf!

I've had a busy day entertaining a friend up from Manchester. We used to work together but she retired a couple of years ago. My village (well we're almost a small town now I think) had an Open Gardens afternoon and so we went round a few of those. Some were really lovely and well tended and others were, quite frankly, a bit of a shambles. I keep wondering whether I should sign up to do it next year but I imagine it can be quite stressful in the run-up to the event and to be honest, I'd rather have it for myself and invite in just the people I want.

I think the greatest fear was that CJ would die. It somehow seemed inevitable that it would end in tragedy but we didn't suspect what followed. I've often thought it pushed the boundaries a little to have Smurf die as well as his twin brother - I'm not sure I quite bought that part of the story but I guess it suited Molly's story more to have her end up with CJ so that we could see her growing and developing and moving away from the path that seemed predestined right at the start of the original OG.

Glad you enjoyed our musings Rich. I was far less erudite than Rhu I'm afraid. I've watched my favourite scenes from that episode so many times that I was probably quite flippant!

I imagine we might find out at work today how our colleague died. I am sure the results of the post mortem should be sorted now as it's almost a week since it happened.

Evening all. Went out with hubby yesterday afternoon, 2 bottles of wine later and I conked out on couch and missed the watch along completely

That sounds like some very well desrved fun ice. Loving the watchalong comments, I just fell asleep!

Haha. It was just the two of us, Rhubarb and I but we managed ok! I think we knew the script wrll enough. Hope you don't have a headache today? Any news on your Mum?

I can't remember what I last posted, so just incase, mum's tumour is cancer and is aggressive. They are not operating to remove it as where it is controls her speech and right side of body, so could actually do more harm. So it's radiotherapy and chemotherapy Mon-Fri for 6 weeks starting in 2 weeks. Then she will have MRI and brain scan to check it has shrunk. Then, all going well she will have regular scans.

There are no secondary rumours which is great.

It's not the news we wanted, but have to stay positive. And hope that the treatment does its job

At least you have a plan now ice and something to work towards. Hugs to you all. Sounds like you needed to relax last night.

ice sounds like your mum is in the best possible hands, and it's so important to have a positive treatment plan to focus on. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way, and I'm sure your strength in supporting her is making a huge difference.

ice ditto to everything Maddie and Jen have said. It totally freaked me out when my Mum was diagnosed with cancer but once she started having treatment, it was much easier to focus your mind.

Great ff treats today with updates from both greenstuff and Jen. Have to say I should not have read Jen's at lunchtime, I managed to explain my overheated face as having a hot flush. Well, I was having a hot flush, but not the sort they thought! I was definitely in that lift with CJ!!

CJ has written an interesting letter from Kenya requesting that Molly make some particular arrangements for his upcoming leave. Details in Chapter 4 of my current story.

Morning all. Hope it stays fine today. We've had 2 inches of rain since Saturday morning. It's like the winter when we had floods all over again.

ice it sounds like there is a plan in place for your mum and that's really positive. Stay strong, and I'm sure those bottles of wine helped!!!
