I thought the voting was exciting as we didn't find out until the very last minute who the winner was. I hope they keep it up.

I liked seeing the disparity between the jury vote and the public vote. But I miss the drawn out bilingual voting of yesteryear.

Thanks Oubliette yes very interesting. UK got it's few public votes from Aus, France and Malta: historical Friends and possibly expats in France. And Poland got them from UK Germany Austria etc etc. Totally the expat vote. But I really really like the fact they reveal the split now. I have mistakenly accused various juries of neighbourly bias for years, when they were clearly just overruled by the public vote.
