Part two to continue with song 18

OP posts:
BYOSnowman · 14/05/2016 23:44

Well yes. It's about mass deportation and murder.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 14/05/2016 23:44

Chicken Kiev and vodka next year.

Raahhmenia · 14/05/2016 23:44

No-one with a proper career would care enough to do this. Which is as it should be. Grin

We will never win again. Not even if we can persuade Adele and Ed Sheeran to duet.

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2016 23:45

Just goes to prove Brits are lazier than Lithuanian and Poles who come over here for work.

We can't even be bothered to vote!

Proof of British laziness!

BirthdayBetty · 14/05/2016 23:45

I wonder if the Ukrain will allow the Russians in next year?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 14/05/2016 23:45

UK jury gave Croatia 12 points so they are more mumsnet

Raahhmenia · 14/05/2016 23:46

So after all that....

Thank you, from the Raahh jury.

I think Cyprus were robbed etc etc

NoisyBrain · 14/05/2016 23:46

SInister it was Georgia wasn't it?

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2016 23:46

DH pointed out that the 'perfect Eurovision song' according to Mans and Petra was about peace and love.

Then that song won....

BYOSnowman · 14/05/2016 23:47

Ukraine can't stop them. The Eurovision lot are very strict on politics. Eg some countries planned to go an ad when conchita was on but were told you show it all or nothing

Now who will the yanks send over for a bit of propaganda?

Raahhmenia · 14/05/2016 23:47

RedGrin

Even if we could have voted for our own, we wouldn't have.

wowfudge · 14/05/2016 23:47

I think your average Brit viewer thinks voting is pointless. Would be interesting to know how many phone votes came from each country.

NoisyBrain · 14/05/2016 23:48

Right, it's past my bedtime - I have an early-rising toddler. Night all.

Raahhmenia · 14/05/2016 23:49

Thanks to Suffolk for the threads, and Red for being a fab Statto.

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2016 23:49

Quick question.

Did anyone here, ACTUALLY vote.

Or are you all lazy theoretical voters like me?

ilovesooty · 14/05/2016 23:49

When Dana International took part Israeli TV showed a bowl of daffodils during her performance.

PestoSwimissimos · 14/05/2016 23:49

Night all!

See you next year if Ukraine still intact by then

OublietteBravo · 14/05/2016 23:51

I voted for Cyprus.

BYOSnowman · 14/05/2016 23:51

No - when Israel won for the first time Lebanon cut the feed and showed a vase of flowers and told everyone Belgium had one

The Israeli broadcasting were right behind Dana as they chose!

Bolshybookworm · 14/05/2016 23:52

I tried to repeatedly to vote for Oz, but couldn't get through Hmm

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2016 23:54

They won't do it - potential career suicide.

Well every cloud has a silver lining.

We can only hope that's the case for Pondlife's Nicki Byrne

Anyway night all!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 14/05/2016 23:54

I didn't vote, but I would have voted for the Ukraine because I have a huge amount of sympathy for their situation. Which is not exactly a musical reason, but did I mention, I really miss Lordi?

BirthdayBetty · 14/05/2016 23:54

I voted Poland Grin

ilovesooty · 14/05/2016 23:55

That's right I think BYO

I think there was a lot of anti Dana International feeling in Israel though.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 14/05/2016 23:55

I voted 4 times for Cyprus.
