I wanted Charlotte to win because, as I mentioned many posts earlier, I know her very slightly as her DD and my DD were at primary school together. We were far from being friends but I chatted to her now and then and she seemed nice. That is grounds enough for me! But I still think she deserved it

I'm glad Charlotte won although I've enjoyed seeing Jade grow and learn.

That printing company I linked up thread was excellent - 5 patterns printed and delivered, for £13, on quality A0 paper, and they arrived with a pack of giant chocolate buttons inside the packet

Oooh, my brother has given me the book for my birthday (which isn't for a few days, but a mysterious package arrived so I opened it)!

I'm impressed by this year's book - there's only one design that had me thinking "I would never make that even for someone else" (well, two if you count the man's shirt, but I might make that without the pintucks). Previous years I've been more 'meh' about it.

The book is fabulous this year, but loved the other ones too!

And tut tut tragically should you have not waited ok I wouldn't have been able to either and you maybe didn't know it was a birthday gift
