Just saw a lovely trailer, it starts on 26th May. Can't wait

Hello all!

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:05

Where does Tracey find all those hideous fabrics for the bib parts of her dresses?

Roussette · 06/06/2016 21:05

Eeeek that sounds tricky dillite

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:06

That challenge looks really hard.

Roussette · 06/06/2016 21:07

Yes I do despair of Tracey's dress sense... episode 1 had her adding wide white lace to something in the reinvention test. Ghastly!

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:07

Probably why no-one has attempted to make one before, Rousette

Love Charlottes fabric.

SoupDragon · 06/06/2016 21:11

This does look really tricky!

Roussette · 06/06/2016 21:12

I want Jamie to do well. Not sure he is!

Helenluvsrob · 06/06/2016 21:13

Checking in!

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:13

Those busy fabrics don't help with the zip insertion.

TragicallyUnbeyachted · 06/06/2016 21:13

I briefly got very smug because I have made a qi pao, but then they started mentioning darts and I remembered that I made it for DD1 so I didn't have to worry about darts. And it took me about three times longer than it's taking them, and I had more detailed instructions.

PigeonPie · 06/06/2016 21:14

I want to have a go at one though.

SoupDragon · 06/06/2016 21:15

Do they deliberately give them slightly vague instructions?

Roussette · 06/06/2016 21:15

Respect Tragically! Couldn't tackle this unless I had years to do it Grin

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:15

Those mannequins could do with some low carb bootcamp.

TragicallyUnbeyachted · 06/06/2016 21:16

With the zip on these anything short of photographs is vague. But I expect so, like in the technical challenge on Bake Off.

Roussette · 06/06/2016 21:16

Hi Helen!

I love some of these materials

SoupDragon · 06/06/2016 21:17

Not sure what Josh has ended up with!

SoupDragon · 06/06/2016 21:18

Actually, it looks right on the mannequin.

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:19

Oh wow, Tracey's isn't actually slap dash.

dillite · 06/06/2016 21:21

Why is Esme wearing my gran's rag rug on her dress?

SoupDragon · 06/06/2016 21:21

Yay for Josh!

Roussette · 06/06/2016 21:22

Josh looks pretty gobsmacked!

HalsallRedux · 06/06/2016 21:23

I like that lemon-print fabric on Angeline ignores the actual sewing challenge

SoupDragon · 06/06/2016 21:24

I'm really interested in this as I have a number of saris I picked up from a charity shop.
