Can I crash the sewing bee thread... love this programme and started threads last year, but I've been away and now caught up!

I like Charlotte (won babygro challenge I think), Jade red haired and Jamie is a star. I think Josh is on shaky ground and Tracey is beginning to grate a bit!

Some of the capes were wonderful and some were absolutely dire!

Looking forward to lingerie next week!

Monkseal's blog for the first week did make me laugh!

I think Charlotte, Jade and Jamie are currently top of my list of potential finalists.

Charlotte has solid sewing skills but slightly questionable taste (although nothing in comparison to Tracey). Rumana is super cool and Jade is my favourite.

I have a neatly sewn wallchart with all their names on Velcro backed tags*. I move them up and down my personal leaderboard each week. :o

Next week my top three might be completely different.

so it's not true about the velcro? ...obviously not, what true seamstress would stoop so low as to use velcro

I finally caught up with the first 2 episodes yesterday - I haven't read the thread in depth but see he's been mentioned but has anyone established why Patrick looks so different?

He looked so gorgeous last series but he seems to have lost a little something

Last series was the series of the villainous moustache wasn't it? I didn't like that look.

I thought the moustache was a bit more wing commander ("chocks away" )

I don't like moustaches at all but he still looked lovely. This series though he looks, I don't know, older/tired/chubbier in the face/unkempt??

I didn't really notice but DH thought he looked chubbier and less well-groomed, and that his suit didn't fit as well.

I'm really interested to watch the underwear one-maybe I can fashion myself a bra that fits my tiny yet far apart boobs!! in absence of fried egg pic!!

You know what it is that makes Patrick look not as dapper as before? He seems to have developed a turkey neck. Or perhaps it was always there just hidden by the beard?

I would challenge them to make a bra for me in my 38HH. Finding the industrial strength fabrics would be a challenge of its own.
