Rich and ice - are you both still Holby fans? This story with Arthur Digby and his dizzy wife has been driving me mad. He's died tonight. I really think the stories in Holby have gone off this year (even though I still watch it each week).

Had my hand op yesterday. Bloody sore, but I can type a mean 'one-handed piano" though very slowly.

Me, I've been bingeing on James Norton for the last week. We had the last of Grantchester. What a great cliffhanger to end on... Then we've had Happy Valley 2 all pushed into two weeks, finishing tonight. Over the weekend I watched the whole series of War and Peace which was streamed through Lightbox here. He does uniforms as well as CJ, I think. Loved him in his white ball gear and he did a very convincing deathbed scene. He is a stunning actor, I think.
My theory about Molly is that the series could start with a wedding and a neat little piece about her plans while CJ is in Kenya. After all, she was never going to be able to serve with him again on this deployment. I think Tony Grounds would be crazy not to keep her on ice for a third series. Perhaps that's what CJ was in his dress uniform for? That back shot? What do the rest of you think?

Interesting thought there kuiak, the anticipation kills me!! Hope the thanks gets better soon.

ilove I watched holby last night and was actually quite relieved when Arthur died. The story line has been going on forever. I did cry! But then I cry at adverts !! I still watch it as I've invested years watching the program, but perhaps some dynamic cast members would help, oh and some different story lines!

Ooh, I got a bit lost watching Holby last night, but was an emotional episode.

Rich/ice agree they need new storylines and more interesting characters. It was Arthur's stupid wife who annoyed me the most. Couldn't get over that half the cast were at his deathbed. So unrealistic. Guy Self's daughter winds me up too (can't spell her name). I've watched Holby since the beginning.

ice I guess TG wants to protect our favourite character. If he revealed the locations, we'd probably try to kidnap BA?

Hope you have a speedy recovery kuia - lucky you gorging on JN although I must admit he doesn't fully float my boat on a scale of CJ to Manu to AT to D'Artagnan, but he's somewhere beneath the NZ rugby team and Antony Starr. He is a great actor though, I grant you. Ditto to your thoughts on keeping Molly on the back burner for S2 - TG I'm sure will want to keep all options open in case the wise old BBC commission a third series.

Reminds me of when I was a teenager and went to a neighbouring city to see Wham play. My cousin tipped me off where they were staying as she worked in the hotel! My friends and I went back there after, and there were no other fans there, just us sitting in the bar trying to look cool. George Michael didn't appear as he had injured his back on stage, but I didn't care cos it was Andrew I liked anyway and he and some of his entourage sat at the next table! I guess I'm a bit old for that sort of stalking these days!

Work this morning, we have a massive inspection at the surgery, so we have spent the last week, chucking out of date stuff and tidying, like they won't notice!! And then off to London in the afternoon and then I'm seeing Romeo and Juliet at the Garrick Theatre. Lilly James and Richard Maddon. Yippee!!!

Brill! Doing it from 19 June. Same as last time, well apart from having Instagram and a huge FB page to look after

Ooh Rich Richard Madden is smokingly sexily moody and well worthy of a place at the fireside wrestling I would wager; lucky you. Your inspection reminds me of the OFSTED school inspections where every one runs round a week beforehand putting everything in order then pretends it all runs like clockwork, using boff yes-men kids to say all the right things...then once they're gone it all goes back to chaotic normal. Not that I'm saying your surgery is like that, but you get my gist

Did a 4 mile walk this morning, doing a sponsored walk in September, so thought I had better do a bit of training, then I had my Tae Kwon Do class thîs evening, so think I have burnt off a few calories today, may treat myself to some chocolate.
