I was very controlled ilove, mainly because you can't buy plants at Chelsea. Lots of names of flowers to look for though. Very different planting on the show gardens than in the pavilion.

Loved the Yorkshire garden, the reflection of the stained glass on the water was beautiful.

Thank goodness it's bank holiday coming up. I've loads of household jobs to catch up on. Never caught up really after the plant sale and the bathroom saga.

Glad you had a good day pix. A friend of mine went from here, and really enjoyed it, but said it was busy. She saw Monty Don. Think Jonny Ball trumps that. Used to really like him in playdays playaway whatever it was called!! Mind, what she noticed most was that loads of women were wearing clothes with flowers on!!

Afternoon all

Sorry I haven't been on much this week. Its been so busy since I got back from London.

The memorial service was so lovely. My Uncle had a huge turnout. Various people stood at the front and spoke of their memories of him. I was a weeping mess a few times when grown men were actually at the front crying. My Uncle was one of the top vets in the country and he was involved with so many animal charities and organisations that he's going to be very sadly missed and leave a huge hole.

My Aunty has a lot of close family around her so I'm pleased she's got great support.

I think I drove about 600 miles altogether there and back. It didnt seem that long while I was driving strangely enough.

One twin has been very chesty this week so I haven't slept much but today DH took all three kids to the MIL's for the weekend! I really didn't fancy it and DH wants to go to some car show down there with DD so It'll work out well hopefully. MIL isn't very impressed I'm not going down but I don't care.

Jealous of your weekend alone Kelly, sounds great. We're getting ready to go away next week and weekend of birthday party and shopping/laundry/packing.

I'd love to say that Chelsea had inspired me, but that one has been written since January ilove.

Well I think I'm in trouble with my Mum over it. She's very helpfully saying that the in-laws won't be happy esp as we don't get on anyway plus other stuff. Well it's done now and if they need me down there, I can be down there in a couple of hours. Jeesh.

This morning is all about further clearouts. Kids playroom next. So many toys that are hanging around that are broken so a trip to the tip later my happy place

Spoke to DH this morning, he says a twin was sick overnight all over MILs brand new cream carpet and the other one is a bit chesty still. See how they go later on.

How was your husband's first week in the new job ice? Hope it went well.

Really need to pull my finger out today. Got so much to do and organise before we go away on Monday. MrP is annoying me doing loads of non essential things like cutting back a forsythia instead of packing suitcases and doing the shop.
