Can I revise that estimate - we could well end up last again.

MaddieMoo82 · 14/05/2016 22:56

Yep feel we will be very close to the bottom

MaddieMoo82 · 14/05/2016 22:57

Woo we aren't going to have nil point!

pixieg1rl · 14/05/2016 22:58

Ooh, why do Malta want to suck up to us?

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2016 22:58

I'm so excited - first douze points in 7 years!!

pixieg1rl · 14/05/2016 23:05

Australia are doing very well....

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2016 23:06

If Australia win they have to nominate a country in Europe to host - which means bizarrely it could be us holding it next year.

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2016 23:17

God I love that Petra woman - she has a dry wit!

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2016 23:30

OK so we are finishing third from bottom - usual pants!

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2016 23:39

Oh well - guess we won't all be humming along to this one on the radio!

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2016 23:42

Goodnight ladies - thanks for the company and Goodnight Europe!!

Oh good grief Swedish presenters - get a room!

Berlin585 · 15/05/2016 08:00

Gosh you ladies have more staying power than me! I'm afraid I didn't manage to watch to the end....I see some of you hung in there though!
Lovely sunny morning here....have a good one whatever you're all up to.

MaddieMoo82 · 15/05/2016 08:08

Morning all Smile
After all that watching DS woke up before the winner was announced and took me an hour to settle him again! Argh! Ah well was fun up until that point.
rhu just caught up with your new chapter... Another great cliffhanger!!
rich hope MrRs party went well last night.
Mega foggy here you can barely see up the street!

Rhubarb01 · 15/05/2016 08:09

Morning - it's a lovely sunny day today if not a little bit fresh. Hope you all have good plans for today. Ours involve sports competitions as usual so I'm glad of the decent weather as it makes being outside a lot more pleasant.

Hope there aren't any sore heads out there this morning. Thanks to DD's semi-prohibition stance on alcohol my single large glass sipped appropriately throughout the whole 3 hour bash has had no effect. Looking back though, how awful a winner was that? I do wish in the spirit of brexit that the BBC would give notice of leaving the competition in 2-3 years time (don't want to make a knee jerk decision and look like sour grapes) and just stop doing it. The money saved could fund endless future series of OG! We can't ever win it and I felt so sorry for the poor little lads who really didn't deserve that. At least they can look at the winner (worthy as the subject matter may have been) and say we weren't as bad as that!

Rhubarb01 · 15/05/2016 08:15

Thanks mads. It seems to be taking me a week at a time per chapter these days - it's mainly my job that's draining too much time and mental energy at the moment. Well the time bit is true but for mental energy read sapping boredom.

You must be gutted that you missed the reprise of the winning entry! Grin

MaddieMoo82 · 15/05/2016 08:31

I think a week a chapter is good rhu!!!
Well I'm disappointed that I put all the early effort it to miss the final bit!! Haha oh well.
Do feel pretty sorry for the two guys but I guess they know the history of it so hopefully wouldn't have been too upset.

Ilovelblue · 15/05/2016 08:36

Hi all. I listened to some Eurovision stuff towards the end on the radio whilst in bed and read your commentary on here so realise the voting was as unrealistic as usual. I agree Rhubarb, we should pull out of the competition.

Sunny here today but I have to concentrate on emptying the bathroom. At least I don't need to bother cleaning it. This time tomorrow half of it will be in a skip. Hopefully I can do a bike ride and a bit in the garden too. Got loads of ironing in the basket staring at me too.

icemistOBE · 15/05/2016 09:02

Morning lovely and sunny here. Might have to do the ironing on the garden Grin

Only watched the voting on Eurovision, not sure how it worked but did add a bit of drama. Still trying to figure out how Australia were able to take part.....

Morning all. Bright eyed and bushy tailed? I'm having a very productive morning of washing up, laundry and batch cooking. Then planting up the hanging baskets and taking DS to the funfair in the next village along.

Until the next Eurovision watch along Brew

Richtea19 · 15/05/2016 14:28

I've just read your posts from last night, hillarous, no need to watch the hi lights.

They commentary is always the best bit!

DH party went well, everyone that was invited arrived and a few extra. DS was on the beer and then I caught him with JD and coke, the eve for him went downhill as he was sick outside. My nephews walked him home (pub down the lane) and put him to bed. By the time I got home he missed the bucket and I was washing bed linen! Bloody annoying kids!

We are now enjoying the sunshine nursing poorly heads!

Also it's great to have a party as DH got loads of presents!
