Great to see it back shame it's only for 3 EPS, due to Surannes Dr foster work? And seems they've written her pregnancy in?

Very interesting case and loving the fact they've got teens and child pornography laws as a sub-plot, it sometimes comes up as an issue on mn.

Watched it and usually enjoy the series. Found it quite unrealistic tonight when they arrested the 16 yr old daughter for images. A bit OTT with the back up from uniform officers. Would be boring I suppose if it was anything like real life.

But the images might be worse than mum's been told, there's the drugs and age issue too, plus as mum's a cop they maybe feel they need to be seen to be fair?

Love this show always really well done. Shame about only three, seems ages since last one though did try and cover what's been happening.

This is the first time I've watched the programme and I really enjoyed it.
It's shaping up nicely with lots of potential suspects.

Watching mainly cos of SJ and have always liked her acting.

And I just loved the fake phone call and laughed out loud.
"I weel say zees ornlee wance"

i got abit bored with the first half hour, thinking its just another women cop show.
but then the family backround came into it, bailey being pregnant and her sister living with her and scotts daughter being in trouble. i thought yeah this is more like the first series

did you know sally linsey the woman who plays baileys sister was suppose to play the part of scott but due her twins being small and her role in mount pleasant she couldnt commit to it so she took the part of the sister

Oh wow, I didn't know that - I think it works well with the actresses in the parts they play & cant imagine them in any of the other roles! Great show & wish it were longer than 3 episodes!

I like this show. I think the two actresses work well together. Sally Lindsay is better suited to the part of the sister.

What i found funny is how they tried to hide Suranne Jones' pregnancy.

If people are coming new to this and enjoying it, I strongly recommend watching the previous series. It was even better when Amelia Bullmore was in it. I love the fact that it has strong, smart, non-glamorous women with supportive friendships in all the lead parts. I hope the new cop will redress the balance now Amelia Bullmore has left.

Yes, such a shame Amelia Bullmore's left - she was great, I loved her.

I hadn't realised SJ was pregnant but at one point during their chats in the loo, I found myself thinking 'hmm, she looks unusually thick round the middle, isn't she quite slim normally?' Doh!

I watched it really enjoyed it, but I love anything Lesley Sharp is in, love Suranne Jones in everything (I watched "Touching Cloth" the other day Grin ) and I really missed Amelia Bullmore too.

i think im watching too many female cop shows at the moment, marcelle and undercover cos i couldnt remember what the crime was that scott and baily are trying to solve

Loved the dead police guy had great face! Can't believe she didn't take more of the blame. It's only 3 series this time so annoying spending time on pregncy when thers no time to do much with it over the space of 2 weeks? Next week she still be 4m unless they are going make her have it in one episode.

It lacks the senior police woman to pull them all together- just seems darker this time round, and it was never light and funny.
