Great to see it back shame it's only for 3 EPS, due to Surannes Dr foster work? And seems they've written her pregnancy in?

Very interesting case and loving the fact they've got teens and child pornography laws as a sub-plot, it sometimes comes up as an issue on mn.

Fiderer is it something to do with Tasie being involved in taking the original images, but she wasn't involved in the images sent last night?

I'm also not sure where Janet's youngest daughter went? She wasn't featured at all.

tribpot · 28/04/2016 19:11

Yes, the Janet/Tasie stuff didn't make sense at all. She's accused of grooming the boy for child pornography and now Janet (using Tasie's phone) does the same thing again? WTF?

Very disappointing conclusion to a fantastic TV series.

Fiderer · 28/04/2016 19:28

Only thing that makes sense is that he had received photos from her & the mum found them. That he voluntary sent one back at the end makes no sense as "Tas" had requested it.

Unless Janet only wrote something along the lines of "Can't wait to see you again" - guessing he'd reply with a photo.

Annoying though, I dislike programmes that leave me going "Eh, what" & with questions. Especially this one as I really enjoyed S1 & 2.

Who was the dead body in the basement? And who did kill Mitch?

BetweenTwoLungs · 28/04/2016 19:33

Dead body in the basement was the girl that had been targeted but the police were trying to protect - Jenna I think?

RaeSkywalker · 28/04/2016 19:36

Dead Bing in basement was Jenna. Mitch was killed by soldier bloke who they thought was the killer initially.

RaeSkywalker · 28/04/2016 19:36

Body, not bing Blush

Fiderer · 28/04/2016 19:46

Thanks.

I did wonder but I thought she had a policeman outside her door.

Annoying or maybe it's that I'm getting older & dimmer Grin

tribpot · 28/04/2016 19:47

Yes, what the hell happened with the notebook?

PollyPerky · 28/04/2016 20:14

Disappointed- not so good as previous series. Too much like the old Cagney and Lacey, relying on 'wimmins talk' in the loos. Reviews in paper (Times) today says the same - not the best of the series.

southeastdweller · 28/04/2016 21:34

Poor ending last night and to be honest I'm not too sorry it's gone for good. The cases were getting samey and it's not the same without Gill. I wonder if Amelia Bullmore left because she knew it wasn't the show it used to be.

Katedotness1963 · 29/04/2016 09:24

Disappointed in this series. I really missed "Godzilla" this time and the story was a little boring. I'm also confused about it being a crime for a teenage girl to get naked pics from her boyfriend but when her middle aged mother does it, it's suddenly proof of something that gets her off the hook. Didn't seem realistic to me.

oldmum22 · 29/04/2016 16:51

Very poor ending ,bit disappointed.

Did anyone else think that the lighting was too dark ? If not,I am off to Specsavers

Fiderer · 29/04/2016 17:02

I'd like a series with the Scott & Dobson. Without Rachel.

southeastdweller · 29/04/2016 17:27

It was a crime for Taisie to have the pics because she's 16 and her boyfriend 15. Iirc she also took the explicit pics. He didn't send them, she already had them.

tribpot · 29/04/2016 18:47

I think you've got it, southeast - Taisie took the original pics, these ones he took himself. I think it's very doubtful if this would show that he was a willing participant (even though we know he was) given 'Taisie' solicited them from him.

Clawdy · 29/04/2016 18:51

Taisie's name is unusual, never heard it before. Is it short for something, like Anastasia?

Fiderer · 29/04/2016 19:36

I also think it must be that way. But it wouldn't be soliciting if Janet had written something like "Missing you, can't wait to see you again". She's a policewoman, she wouldn't have written anything incriminating.

They'd have made it easier for us if they'd let the camera stay longer on the phone Grin

Think Tasie might be short for Anastasia. Pretty name but I bet she'll spend her life saying "No, not Daisy".

Arkengarthdale · 29/04/2016 21:40

Perhaps it's short for Taser, what with mum being a cop and all Grin

tribpot · 29/04/2016 22:16

Love the Taser idea but apparently Princess Taisie is a figure from Irish folklore. Doesn't sound like the princess got done for child pornography either, so that's something.

AugustaFinkNottle · 30/04/2016 06:50

Do we know that Tasie took the original photos? I wondered if the point was that he did and sent them to her, and in essence Janet proved he was doing more of the same.

Clawdy · 30/04/2016 09:50

Ah,thanks, tribpot.

oneowlgirl · 30/04/2016 23:24

I agree - disappointing all round, which is v annoying given how great it was & could have been.

southeastdweller · 01/05/2016 09:20

Being the anal type, I rewatched the scene in the second episode where Taisie was interviewed by the police and yes it was stated that the pics were taken using her phone. She was charged with possessing and distributing indecent images of a child. Maybe she sent them to a friend who sent them on.

Akire · 01/05/2016 09:54

I spent 3 series thinking her name was Daisy! Small TV can't read names on phones! Yes would been good to see logic about how she would got off.

How did nice girl get murdered? I presumed he forced her call Rachel? Or had he bugged her phone too and despite he being terrified for her life she leaves safe place and protection And goes station to get murdered? Why was she on hit list??

Rachel was stupid getting star and voice messages and not reporting them quite childish!
