Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

Nugget, if you add Mary into your show then I'd watch it . Hope Mary comes back soon.

I find it really hard to warm to or care about any of them.

I quite like Beth, Sinead, Kirk, Craig ... but they don't have any real stories. And I just know that when they do it'll be some huge massive stupid contrived drama when we want to see them just sort of living their lives.

I don't warm to chesney. Fiz and Tyrone are largely pointless. The Hope storyline was terrible.

Sally and Tim are one trick ponies now. Aliya (sp?) has potential - she's beautiful and intelligent mind: the idea she'd get with Gary ... Maria is pointless, as is Dev, Kym Marsh's character just irritates me.

Shame Jason is going - Todd, Eileen and Jason are some of the only 'real' characters. I don't mind the Platts but they've been overused to death. I also don't mind Tracy, but likewise - a better story would have been grief and loss of Deirdre.

Amy, Bethany, Faye are much of an age: a few 'young' stories wouldn't go amiss not stupid bullying with the poshest bullies in Manchester!

Yes Nugget Anthony Cotton was horrible in celeb jungle wasn't he. A really nasty piece of work. I hate any scene he's in, his acting is awful and he seems to be in far too many scenes even when he's not necessary to the plot.

Anthony Cotton has an alien-reptile-face look about him, when he furrows his brow. And often when he doesn't.

Oh yes, Anthony Cotton was hideous in the jungle. He is nasty and his character is crap. How he keeps getting his contract renewed is a mystery.

So, the stupid Fiz and Tyrone dress debacle was just a way to get them into Tyrone's pick-up truck to crash into the annexe? They'd missed the ceremony and half of what was meant to be the reception, anyway.

Oh I love the idea of a spin off series!

Cathy will no doubt get the obligatory private room in the ICU at Wetherfield General and a doctor barking 'the next 24 hours are critical!' scenes later.

Yep Mary can be in it too. Maybe Steve if he ups his game.
