Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

Izzy was charged with assault because she rolled over the copper's foot as well as the drugs thing. So Gary got suspended sentence but now she's up in court instead.

with a bit of luck, she might get sent to prison and we won't have to watch her "acting" any more!

I was actually wondering, can the police confiscate prescription pain killers? Participants they can blatantly see the owner of said medication is in pain and disabled?

I've been on nights all week do I need to watch them all or shall I save myself?

I think technically once you are arrested you are in hands of officer so they have duty of care. So ideally you would not want them taking anything that may make them ill sick fane sudden illness get taken to hospital or anything else that makes more work for them. Izzy could have already taken her painkillers for lunch time say he's not to know that. So while crappy can see why make nurse check first.

Izzy had not been placed under arrest when the officer prevented her taking her meds. The two officers also had no right whatsoever to enter her home without a warrent/her consent, even though she opened the door. Whole episode total bullshit.

She's a terrible actress. It's uncomfortable to watch.

I'm still baffled by how much cleaning is needed in that factory. Its bizarre, you just wouldnt have someone cleaning a factory while everyones working. A cleaner would come in before or after the working day for a couple of hours. Apart from that all Jennies cleaning routine consists of is...... slowly sweeping the floor whilst listening to all the machinists gossip (the noise of macines should really make this impossible).....or else shes leaning on the brush (with a faraway look on her face) when shes heard something of interest to her.

I agree. I don't recall the factory needing a cleaner previously so maybe she has to work all day to scrub away years of dirt .
And if she does become a machinist what are the bets that there will be no new cleaner appointed.
The whole factory thing is just ludicrous anyway. It doesn't make sense that a place like that would still be around in 2016.

Missed four episodes this week but may as well watch tonight's while I do the ironing.

No spoilers but I've read about what happens in next week's episodes and Thursday's one is one I won't miss. I hope the writers don't mess it up.

Tracy is a ridiculous character and, in my opinion, the most un believable in the entire programme. If she were real, shed be in prison or would have had her head kicked repeatedly in by now.

Doing my ironing was more interesting than that episode.

There was absolutely no point to tonight's extra and later episode Rubbish!
