So Dan said to Kerry in the coffee shop that he was on a coffee run for him and Cain, Kerry said "don't say he's coming in" Dan says "no its takeaway" but a few seconds later says Cain is coming into the coffee shop to meet Zach, so why the feck would he need a takeaway coffee if he's going to be there in a minute.

The obvious answer is that the shit writers from corrie were sent to Emmerdale

I was so glad when Kasim came coz I thought at least it's a new face, but in the space of two weeks they repeated the same storyline with him and Finn three times going in circles :(

Actually Ross - he who has slept with every woman in a thirty mile radius - makes me laugh. But even then you know he's just inserted into storylines to get off with someone and wind their partner up.

Yes Bonfire I wish they would give Ross a new storyline. He's absolutely hilarious but he's also brilliant at heart-rending stuff. And Moses is just so gorgeous.

I want to know what makes Moira so alluring to James, Cain and Pete.

There've been so many times that Moira should have taken Cain back now, it's ridiculous. They're great together and I don't believe anyone would have the will power to risk saying no to him that many times - in every scene where she tells him it won't be happening, we're left watching her face when he goes, clearly kicking herself for saying it. Just stop being so bloody stubborn. The only thing he did was not trust your doped up daughter (and for good reason), in an attempt to save you from hurt. He's apologised for getting it wrong heaps of times. Get over it. You're hardly a saint, Moira with your boobs out at funerals.

His attitude re the male strippers night out is classic control, freak passive aggressive behaviour! He really is awful.

The men on Emmerdale are really vile, more so than other soaps. It's hard to like any of them.

Zeppo nails it. The writers will most definitely have done their homework on this; and so far they're doing quite well in illustrating how control can insidiously seep into relationships

MY ex used to do what piers did tonight. If I had a (rare) night out with friends/ colleagues he would engineer a row or give me the cold shoulder before the event then whilst I actually on the night out (assuming I hadn't cancelled to please him) then he would text an "I love you" if I didn't reply he would ring and ring, sometimes a voicemail saying " I just want to talk, answer the phone" and if I didn't respond (because I wasn't attached to my phone!) he would either start leaving abusive texts/voicemails or he would turn up where I was (if possible) or be waiting outside for when I came out. Probably hoping to catch me snogging someone else. He was a proper controlling/jealous/abusive bastard.

Btw does anyone else think piers will punish Rhona for her baby oil antics by raping her again?
